Hello Ecky;

D o lol:

wink:
My, you have said all of that using your own words. You are indeed have a desire for the LORD.
Above all things, let God be God.
So much to cover, but its not necessary. I would say, for your walk, start with the basics: Read the Bible (start in Genesis and read all the way through to Revelation), pray, and have Communion. Even when you don't know a thing, you can still go out and seek the LORD's children, the lost brothers and sisters. Through trial and error, you will see ways the LORD works and doesn't work. And you have a wonderful community here to ask questions. No one, not a single one here, will ever condemn you, but you may get rebuked. IF that happens, accept the rebuke if it is indeed the LORD's rebuke, and REPENT. So you are already on your way....
I have to remind myself to not, as it were, overwater the tender newly-formed plants. So much I want to share, but then you would choke. It is enough for right now. Can't run the mile if you haven't warmed up and stretched out your muscles, right?
The four simple words "Lord will guide me " have so much Truth in them, you have no idea. It goes back to, let God be God, and let you be the person that GOD (not the world, not others, not Satan, not your parents) made you to be. Simple, simple, yet so complicated. You have to take a step out on your own, this is called walking in faith. When you don't see it happening, but you belive it will happen, that is faith as well. When you don't get that job, when that one thing doesn't work out, simply Glorify God and keep moving. Glorify God at the Beginning; Glorify God at the end. He will "GUIDE" you. Often times, He will LEAD you, other times, He lets you do what you want (within His perimeter). He won't embarrass you, won't make you stand before a concert and preach, won't do anything to hurt you. That said, we go through more embarrasment, more preaching before people, and more hurt than any other people because the world puts that on us. If the world would be like Christ, then we would be able to do those things and not be hurt.
The time is short, the time is shorter. And remember, you will have to give an accounting of your life on the Day of Judgment. You alone with Christ. No one else will be there. You will enter the courtroom, you will exit the courtroom. You will not have any manuals to help you, no people to save you or cover you. You, Ecky, will stand before God and will have to explain every wrong, every shortcoming, every mistake. DO NOT WORRY! For Christ will be there, if you continue in His Faith. You have already seen two people who have washed out, but they CHOSE to leave. They were given so much warning, if you could have seen what spared them, but they chose to leave. And if you fall down, REPENT, and Christ will pick you back up and dust you off and cradle you in His Arms. For you, and I, and Rev Barr, and even Raymond Aguilera, are mere babes in His Arms. Even the mature in Christ are so little children in His Eyes. So do not worry about anything, do not worry about the unpardonable sin. You cannot commit it! You are in Christ Jesus now. Stay in the faith, stay with the flock, and do what all Christians do until the end, grow, mature, endure.
So much for overfeeding the tender plants.
God Bless You All, and Ecky, and your family, and your friends, and their friends and families.
