Torrey, the son of Susan Reynolds, was in the Hospital ICU for several weeks, almost died. He is home now but needs massive medical treatments, and the insurance has run out.

Please have Jack put Torrey on the prayer lists, He
needs healing to his immune system to beat the
diabetes, and he needs prayers to just keep it in
check so he doesn't get the other terrible diseases
caused by it. also we need prayers to help pay for
all of this, we don't have much coverage on our
insurance and now he is considered uninsurable. If
you know of any churches that do love offerings to
help in these matters put us on their lists. We need
lots of prayers to just keep from getting depressed.

I received the following update Dec. 26, 2005

Hi,

I just wanted to update you on my son Torrey! Everyone has been praying so much for him. He just went to the Doctor and they reduced his insulin again. He is doing so well controlling his diabetes right now, we just ask for continued prayers that his pancreas will continue to produce insulin and completely repair itself. He is now on only 4 units of long term insulin and 3 units of short term, 2 times a day. We thank God that he is goin so well. Everyones prayers have been a blessing to him.

Just wanted to let all of you know, the prayers you have been praying for us have worked. We have a contract on the house and the closing is the same day that our loan came due and we would have had to come up with the money!! It cam down to the exact day, how much of a miracle is that!! We will probably have to come up with a few hundred dollars at the closing to get it finished, but that it better than almost $300,000 or the $2000 a month it has cost us!! That is a huge burden off my shoulders, as I didn't want us to lose our own home over this.

Other news, My dad is doing pretty good. He isn't as perky as he was and looks awfully pale some days, but he is a fighter and with summer and nice weather coming that will boost his spirits and make him feel better by getting outside.

Torrey is doing okay, he needs some prayer though, his last tests showed kidney damage from his diabetes, so please pray for his healing. They have suggested an insulin pump but the cost is so high, it is over $5000 and the supplies are $300 per month, so he is on the regular pen insulin right now, but he is having a hard time controlling the high blood sugars.
