Hi all, I would appreciate it if you would all say a prayer for my sister she has always been thought of as a very spiritual and religious person, and was the one I thought no one had to worry about. All our childhood she was the one who went to church, when she was a teenager even when we moved she would find a church nearby and go on her own not knowing anyone. She would bring her bible to school and witness. As an adult she was always constant in this, then gradually she began to be interested in other religions. We were brought up in a Pentecostal church.
My sister began fellowshipping with neighbors who were Mormon. And my sister and her husband became Mormon. Well I was very much against it, the more I found out about what they believe, at first even my sister didn’t know everything, they very carefully keep things from you until you are really, really into it. We would have these discussions and well to make a long story short she says now that I was instrumental in getting them to leave the Mormon Church, which they did. Then she became fascinated with the Catholic Church, which was okay with me; I didn’t have a strong feeling that this was bad news, and I learned a lot about Catholicism and found it to be okay. But that didn’t really last either. She never stopped believing in God and Jesus but in the background all these years was this other thing she was interested in, which was death and dead people and communicating with them, she watched John Edwards a lot but I thought maybe this was a passing fad as well. What I am now realizing is that this interest was always there and now I’m afraid is taking over. My niece told me that my sister has used a ouija board but made my niece promise not to tell anyone because my sister doesn’t want to hear a lecture from anyone about it. My niece told me that my sister got it to work only once, and that was when she was doing it with this guy at her work. It spelled out her middle name, and the guy she was doing it with didn’t know her middle name, so she didn’t think he was the one moving the board. My sister now believes that prayer is no more then positive thoughts going out into the cosmos, that prayer is good but there is no real power in it to affect anything. She thinks God created the world then put it on autopilot and just watches and doesn’t get involved much. Yesterday my niece told me she’s not sure anymore if my sister believes in Jesus anymore, more then a good person or like some one who was a person maybe and then because of the sacrifice that he took on then became a deity. I’m not really sure exactly what she believes anymore. My niece is scared for her mom and now I’m scared for my sister. How did this happen, it’s strange how she gradually moved so far from God and I got closer. I also think she has become disillusioned with God, my sister is a very kind and caring person. She works as a security person at a hospital and sees so many bad things and so many suffering people. She can’t understand it; therefore God doesn’t really care about people. She has expressed these feelings to me before. So maybe this is why. She also has to be in control of everything and understand everything. Her faith seems to be pretty much gone. How did this happen to someone so close to God. All I can come with is maybe she was never really that close to God. This situation needs attention and I’m not sure how or what to do, other then pray. My niece doesn’t want me to say anything to her mom, she promised not to tell anyone. So if I do, then my sister will know my niece talked to me. My sister used to talk to me about these things, but now she doesn’t want any of us to know about what she believes. My sister is a very open person, very strong willed and always talks about her feelings. So I know she has to talk to someone, she talks to her daughter then swears her to secrecy. Sorry this is so long; I just wanted to give a little background. I wish I could say what I want and keep it sort, simple and to the point. Sorry. Please say a prayer for my sister; it seems like the world is going crazy. People you would never suspect are coming to the Lord and people who you thought would never leave are leaving. It’s like Satan's last ditch effort to attack believers. God Bless, MerMer Rae |

Oh Bless you MerMer Rae,
I feel your pain even from here. We keep praying for our loved ones to come to salvation. And how terrible it is when you see one of your loved ones on that slide down to hell. Trying your best to stop it, and knowing in your heart that it is Not in Your Power to stop that slide down into hell. Now understand that I am not saying that will be the destination of your sister, for the Lord has said nothing about her to me. I only know from what you are saying in your post as quoted below, that she appears to be on that path. We will all pray that she will turn back before it is too late. All you can do is to pray for her salvation. You are not the only one who is battling for the salvation of a loved one. I will respond within your quoted letter with colored text, not for you MerMer Rea, but for many others who read ProphecyLink, but think that it is Ok to do many of these same things your sister has done, they wear charms, read the Horoscopes, go to fortune tellers, who are today called Psychics. They see nothing wrong with kissing the Devil, really because they don't believe that they are doing wrong. She would bring her bible to school and witness. As an adult she was always constant in this, then gradually she began to be interested in other religions. We were brought up in a Pentecostal church. This shows that she was taught the Basics of the Word of God, and cannot claim ignorance of the truth. My sister began fellowshipping with neighbors who were Mormon. It is one thing to witness to them, it is an entirely different thing to join yourself in friendship to them. 2Cor. 6:14-16 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God;..." And my sister and her husband became Mormon. Well I was very much against it, the more I found out about what they believe, at first even my sister didn’t know everything, they very carefully keep things from you until you are really, really into it. That is the way that it is with all cults. A little bit of being real nice with little information, that is until they have you under their control, then comes the brain washing, leading to complete control over you. See Raymond's Prophecies about the Mormon church and how satanic it is. You see, once you have have put all that Satanic stuff into your head, it is extremely difficult to get it back out again, for it keeps getting in the way of clean Godly thoughts. She never stopped believing in God and Jesus but in the background all these years was this other thing she was interested in, which was death and dead people and communicating with them, Communicating with the dead. It so many times starts out like a fun thing to do, but even the first time can get you into trouble with the Holy Lord God, for any form of this, the bible tells us, is an Abomination before God, and the bible called for the death of anyone who took part in such practices. she watched John Edwards a lot but I thought maybe this was a passing fad as well. What I am now realizing is that this interest was always there and now I’m afraid is taking over. My niece told me that my sister has used a Ouija board but made my niece promise not to tell anyone because my sister doesn’t want to hear a lecture from anyone about it. The infamous Ouija Board!! Every Ouija Board came with it's own Demon attached. And that is how it worked, you asked the question and the demon gave you an answer. Those who asked their Ouija Board any questions about God and / or Jesus Christ found out in a hurry just how demonic the board was. So your sister was introduced to Demonic control many years ago. She opened the door and let them in. My niece told me that my sister got it to work only once, and that was when she was doing it with this guy at her work. It spelled out her middle name, and the guy she was doing it with didn’t know her middle name, so she didn’t think he was the one moving the board. He wasn't, the demon was. Your sister has gone from believing in Jesus Christ, serving Jesus Christ, and has now turned her back on Jesus, turning to the ways of the world. What I cry for is this scripture which the Lord is bringing to my mind right now. Heb. 6:4-6 "for it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and weere made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame." Heb. 10:26-29 "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' Law died without mercy under two or three witnesses; Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace" My niece is scared for her mom and now I’m scared for my sister. Yes, it sounds like she has NO Faith left at all. How did this happen to someone so close to God. See http://www.barr-family.com/godsword/loseyourfaith.htm All I can come with is maybe she was never really that close to God. Please say a prayer for my sister; it seems like the world is going crazy. People you would never suspect are coming to the Lord and people who you thought would never leave are leaving. It’s like Satan's last ditch effort to attack believers. We are praying for, first, that the Lord God will have mercy on her and allow her to repent and come back to him, not to cut her off. Second, that the Lord will send workers to her, and that the Lord will lead her to listen to those whom the Lord sends to lead her back to salvation. God Bless, MerMer Rae |

Mer Mer Rae, Radicalmum again, Don't give up hope. Jesus is the God of Second Chances and he will always accept back any of his erring children. I believe that Jesus is already interceeding for her right now. Even as you are. I will join you too.I have a suggestion to make. Have you gone to this website www.cfaith.com . This website has some freebies on there and you are able to access them. They have a file "prayers" Under that heading are different types of prayers for different situations. It is also able to be printed too. They are called " Deliverance from Cults" "Deliverance from Corrupt Companions" " Deliverance from Satan and His Demonic Forces" . I have them in a folder so when I pray for your sister. Get the Intercessors involved in your church too. Don't give up. I believe that God will draw her back and she will be an effective tool in the hands of God Almighty.
