I have a prayer request I want to be baptize in the Holy Ghost so I can preach His word with power and to be able to be an effective witness in winning souls to His Kingdom. I am tired of the Lacking in my spiritural life.

god gives us what he gives us,we should never dictate to god what we think were suited for,for god knows way better than us what were suited for,god gives us little tests in our lives that we think are meaningless ,but are very important to god in the manner in which he will use us,the preacher's wife told me she was going to a seminar on how to fight demons and speak in tongues she is in her 70's wanting to do this her whole life,i believe that if god wanted her to do this she wouldn't have to go to a seminar,she's just not happy taking what god gave her,a base in which to have fellowship with many christians every week,as far as fighting demons if she only knew it's no walk in the park,even thou i know jesus is with me in fighting demons it is very scary and sometimes it is so hard to get the words of the lord jesus out of my mouth ,but they always come out thanks to jesus,and the fights with demons are imprinted in your mind for days,i will pray for what you ask,are you expecting supernatural things to happen to you ?what happened to me was i was able to recognize when god was actually speaking to me ,that he's the little voice inside of us not the one that repeats over and over ,for god will not beg us to do his work

Hi Carlo,

Many ask for the wrong thing in their desire for the baptism in the Holy Ghost. I did myself for several years, and never received. I prayed every day for it. Many ministers laid hands on me for me to receive, but I never got it. Many seek it for the signs, which is wrong. And that is what I was doing. My heart was not right.

I see that you are seeking it for the Power to Witness, and that is the Right way. That is what the Baptism in the Holy Ghost is all about, the Power to Witness.

I can only give you some guidance in how to seek this Gift of the Father.

It was after reading this booklet that I realized that I was asking for the wrong thing, and when I started asking for the right thing, the Power, and believed, then I received the Baptism in the Holy Ghost. I know of others who received the Baptism in the Holy Ghost after reading this booklet.

You have to submit to the Holy Ghost, you have to open your mouth and let the Holy Ghost use your tongue. Giving up your control of your tongue to the Holy Ghost controlling your tongue. And believing.


I have laid hand on and prayed for some to receive the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, with them saying that they did want the Baptism, but then having the Lord God tell me to stop praying for that person to receive the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, because that person would not accept it.

Then I have a sister to whom the Lord God had tried to give her the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. I was first aware of it shortly after I had received the Baptism myself. The Lord led me to copy and send to her all the verses in the Bible which would lead her to accept. Then about two years later, I was praying about 2 am and the Lord told me to pick up the phone, to call my sister to tell her that the Lord Wanted her to accept the Baptism in the Holy Ghost. I called her, woke her up, she became angry, and during that conversation, indicating that she had never read the Bible verses that I sent her two years before. But reluctantly said that she would try to find them and read them, but she never did.

She then gave that excuse that is given time after time, saying "If God Wants me to have it, He will give it to me!!", I told her that the Lord was trying to give it to her and she had to accept it. She never did accept the gift of the father, so later the Lord let me know that the gift to her had been withdrawn, that she would never have the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, and because she did not have it, that she would suffer physically in the future, for although the Lord was using her, and she is his child, she was not listening to the Holy Spirit and so the day will come when the Holy Spirit will say to to her, pick up and run NOW, instantly, and because she is not listening, she will not run NOW, and will be caught and suffer at the hands of invading soldiers.

I know that applies to her, but I do not know that it applies to everyone. I say here and now again, that you do not need the Baptism in the Holy Ghost for salvation. It is not a requirement, it is a Gift. It is for the Power to Preach the Gospel. And Jesus thought it was so important to have, that although the Apostles already had the infilling of the Holy Ghost, Jn. 20:22 Still Jesus commanded them to wait for the Gift of the Father Lk. 24:49; Acts 1:4, 8

What I can tell you, is that the difference of having the baptism in the Holy Ghost and not having the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, is like a foot race. With it you are running full stride toward the finish line, and with out it, you are hobbled, taking small steps toward the finish line. both can make it, but the one without is more likely to become tired and sit down to rest, never to get up again. For I have seen the difference in me between having it and the time before when I did not have it.

You are on the right track Carlo, keep asking the Lord God for the Power, and believe that the Lord God has given you the power, and you will know when that power falls upon you. And you will feel your spirit lift and fly like an eagle.

And Mark, you are right, we can not ever dictate to God that he has to give us this or that.

The preachers wife you write about, will never have the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, for she was not after the Power to Witness, but rather she was after the signs.

And there is no one on earth who can teach anyone else how to speak in tongues, although there are some churches who try. If any of you out there find yourself in a church which tries to teach you how to speak in tongues, turn and run out of there as fast as you can, they are NOT of God.

Good people, every Christian should also be aware that there is a false Tongues out there, from Satan. So how is one to know? The True tongues will ALWAYS Glorify God, and a Christian will only receive the Gift from God, and not the false. Only the Non Christian can receive the false.

I will not go into the difference between speaking in tongues as the sign of having Received the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, and the giving of messages in Tongues, which is similar but different in purpose.

a while back i had a dream. In the Dream our God stood in front of me in the form of a woman. We held each other and began to dance. Not a word was spoken. I had this small knowing withen me. I knew where the Spirit was going to move next , i could feel it , i knew where my feet needed to be. Though i senced it , yet i went the other way. I messed up the dance , and without saying a word She looked at me and said lets try again.

At this point i was beginning to wake up , and the feeling i will try and describe. I was full of love and compassion , i had never felt better in my life. It was just me and God , its rather undescribable , as im sure you all well know.

I had this feeling this knowing , that if i wanted to dance with God i was going to have to give my full consintration , i was going to have to focus and let go of everything. Wakeing up , yet still under Gods Love that as upon me , i found that there was something that i was still holding on to.

So frustrated i am , for i dont know what this thing is that was holding me back from giveing absolutly all that i am to God , that i may be led by His Spirit.

My friend , my heart tells me that when your ready to give everything to God , and let go of all that you are , to focus on that still small voice withen you , to obey what your heart tells you is right and true. Then my friend you will be tested , you will be refrined , and yes you will be infilled. And then shall God use you with Mighty Power , Glorifying His Name in the Earth!
