Hey you all, I just wanted to say how good our God is because I was reading the bible like I do every night before I go to bed and I am in Psalms now because every since I found this site, God said in a prophecy to read your bible from beginning to end so you won't be confused. I have obeyed Him and I am learning so much and the bible is like a movie because it goes from beginning to end.

When I was in Exodus I was reading about the Israelites and how crazy they were acting after God had brought them out of Egypt and they just kept making mistakes. I was like, "Man, won't these people ever get it." But then I was reminded that us humans have done so much bad stuff but God displined us and gave us another chance. He gave me another chance and many others because that is how good our God is but he also has to discipline us when we do wrong.

And then to think that some of us still don't get it!

In Psalms David repeatedly talks about God's unfailing love-his love never fails and he is faithful. Then I just meditate on the scriptures and it makes you think, "Wow, God is so faithful to us." He made promises long ago and still keeps them to this day.

Think of how many of us can't keep a promise for a year of even a month, that just goes to show how good our God is!

I've had the same kind of feelings when reading the old testament, but then again, I've noticed the same kind of behavior in my own life. I always tell myself that I should pray regularly because God has answered my prayers and after praying I usually feel better but sometimes I just forget or don't have the "need" to pray. Now that I wrote that it sounds kinda silly. When I get to the end of the new testament I usually think that "Hey, maybe I should give it another go", but I always end up starting the whole bible again. Feels more, I don't know.. natural. And after reading the prophecy about this has eaven strengthened this feeling.

Hi all,
I’ve actually just started (not too long ago) on reading the entire Bible daily and I completely agree with what has been written here above. I’m a fairly young believer, but I admit that I have grown tremendously since beginning reading the Bible. God is good, He truly is.
Bringing the Bible into my theological studies here at school is also something that I have been incorporating much more this past year. God has really been showing me that theology begins with immersing oneself in His word, and not merely reading a few verses here and there (as has been the case in some classes).
God bless,
Yours in Christ,
Tim
