The hope you are searching for is already in yourself...just believe in the Holy Spirit. Rereading your post it reminded me of the verse I just posted on here the other day from Romans:
Chap. 8
[23] And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
[24] For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
[25] But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
[26] Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
The Hope for returning to be with our Lord in Heaven some day, is the Hope that we all seek and yearn for. It's not something that God will reveal to us in our everyday life all the time...if He did, then where would our faith in Him stand? We can never lose that Hope. No matter how sad you may feel...no matter what physically or mentally happens to you here on this earth, if you believe in Jesus, God, the Holy Ghost...then you must continue to have that hope to someday be with them.
Everyday we all take for granted what we have...for some it may be a lot, and for others it may be nothing...but we all have Jesus Christ, who died for US. The world is a pretty crazy place right now, and it will only get worse as we know. So when your Spirit groans, as the bible says, do not be worried, sad, or afraid...but welcome it as a sign that you belong to our Father. The devil likes to hide things from us, to misinterpret things in our minds...to make use feel crazy, sad, lost, depressed...but through these times we must stay strong and show God just how much we love Him. If you fight the good battle and defeat the enemy, How great of a work you will do! If you look through all the darkness around you, and find that little light....how it will shine! It may not be a huge battle...but it matters just as much as any. You are a part of God's army, so stay strong in battle, arm yourself with the armour of God everyday and you will overcome any harm that comes your way.
Yours in Christ,
Stephanie
