She went into the hospital yesterday, and I brought her home this morning from the hospital.
They put in one stent into one blood vessel to her kidney, opening it up to 100 percent. The kidney that we thought that she had lost, they were able to save it. That was the one they put the stent into this time. They said that the main blood vessel to that kidney was 90 percent blocked, and that was the reason the MRA had so much trouble seeing it. The other blood vessel to the other kidney is 60 percent blocked, and the doctor is speaking of going in just a little later to do that one also. But will have to go in by a different path.
It is going to take a while for her body to adjust to the change and for her blood pressure to stabalize. She is tired from the strain, and has slept quite a bit during the day today, and went to bed very early tonight. She needs it.
