Hey everyone,
I'm writing to the list to coordinate a prayer offensive for Britney Spears this coming Friday, January 18, 2008.
For those of you who have followed the news about her, you can tell that satan has surrounded her, and he is desperately trying to keep that as the status quo. My prayer partner and I have had a prayer burden for her, and each time we've prayed, the sheer amount of warfare that follows is amazingly huge.
Her current boyfriend is a papparazo named Adnan Ghalib, who I believe has professed to follow Islam. He wants to marry her, and from what has been reported, he wants to do so very quickly. I do not sense any good intentions or love from this man toward Britney. In addition, there was an incident involving the two of them reported on the website of one of the southern California ABC affiliates today; while in prayer bout this, my prayer partner felt that this man is drugging her, which explains a lot of her recent behavior and mood swings.
This is what I'm asking from those who are willing: I'm asking you to pray for Britney Spears at 3pm this Friday, in whatever time zone you live. My prayer partner and I will start praying at 3pm EST. The goal is that satan will be attacked during consecutive three o'clock hours on Friday. If you wish to pray at 7pm as well, by all means, please do so!
These are the requests we are lifting up the Lord about Britney Spears:
- That this marriage be cancelled and this man be removed from her life in whatever fashion the Lord chooses;
- that she be surrounded by REAL Christians who will both be true friends to her, as well as love her in the Manner of God, and that these people surround her very quickly;
- that she re-receives the joy of the Lord's salvation, and that he return her to a right mind to her, free from alcohol and drugs;
- that the Lord gives her a place to escape, where there are more REAL Christians, who will minister to her;
- that the Lord heals her family life, both immediate and extended.
Your prayers do not have to be long, if you do not wish them to be: they can be as simple as a less-than-one-minute prayer, which asks that the Lord's Will be done in her life. I do ask that, while praying, you pray in agreement with the rest of us that are praying; doing so amplifies the affect and power of our prayers.
If the Lord leads you to pray anything else for Britney, in addition to, or in lieu of what I've written, by all means, do so!
Like I said, I ask only for those willing to pray; this is not a requirement for anyone. My hope, however, is that at least two people pray in agreement, per time zone.
