Ill be blunt. I really dont want to offend anyone with my naivety, i am confused, anxious and a little bit frightened i am not doing right.

Im young, 18, so im sure you can find it in you to understand why i am so annoyed. basically nobody will take me seriously, my friends are very hard headed when it comes to love and real matters, along with id say 90 percent of people my age in the U.K. Im just finding it hard to even speak of god infront of them, they dont listen and ridicule me calling me insane, this isnt just my friends its anybody i try with.

I need a prayer, i feel im not doing right and am starting to think the devil is trying it on with me because im young and do not have experience in battling him. I get startled if i hear bangs whilst in prayer but feel i should be absolutely fearless when the lord is there. I feel so weak, like i cant accept his protection because of my cowardice.

Please help me pray for my strength and that people around me will firstly open their minds, eventually their hearts to their perceived "possibility that there may be a god". They wont even try to pray to feel the almighty holy spirit, some wont even merely say sorry to god and repent. I come on the internet because there are so many people that know what love is, and follow the lord, its one of the only places i feel right to talk.

This is not a cry for sympathy, far from it, the lord has a plan and i know that, these things are meant to be but please help me pray for strength, its like i dont know how and it upsets me.

Ray, when the hard times come and everything starts wrapping up, in the depression may i use your prophecies as an example to people that god is with all of us, and to prove to the hard headed ones that they NEED the lord, that he knows and knows and is, please ask the lord on my behalf if that is ok, i ask myself, but im too dense to notice the signs he gives me.

Help me find answers. I love you all, whoever you may be.

ALL PEACE AND GLORY TO GOD

Thank you.

(Im sorry if i caused offense to anybody, if i did it was very unintentional.)

I hope that this may be helpful and encouraging.
Persevere My Friend!

James 4:8a "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you."

From: "The Normal Christian Life" By Watchman Nee

God does not set us here first of all to preach or to do work for him. The
first thing for which he sets us here is to create in others a hunger for
himself. That is, after all, what prepares the soil for the preaching.

If you set a delicious cake in front of two men who have just had a heavy
meal, what will be their reaction? They will talk about it, admire its
appearance, discuss the recipe, argue about the cost-do everything in
fact but eat it! But if they are truly hungry it will not be very long before
that cake is gone. And so it is with the things of the Spirit. No true work
will ever begin in a life without first of all a sense of need being created.
But how can this be done? We cannot inject spiritual appetite by force into
others; we cannot compel people to be hungry. Hunger has to be created,
and it can be created in others only by those who carry with them the
impressions of God.

I always like to think of the words of that "great woman" of Shunem.
Speaking of the prophet, whom she had observed but whom she did not
know well, she said: "Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of
God, which passeth by us continually" (2 Kings 4:9). It was not what
Elisha said or did that conveyed that impression, but what he was. By his
merely passing by she could detect something; she could see. What are
people sensing about us? We may leave many kinds of impressions: we
may leave the impression that we are clever, that we are gifted, that we
are this or that or the other. But no, the impression left by Elisha was an
impression of God himself.

Hi MatthewW,

Thank you for coming here to request prayer. The Lord will guide you, just keep trusting Him. I will pray for His strength to be manifested in you.

Love, Agape Love, is central to Our Walk in Christ!
What you have encountered is the same thing that most of
us encounter when dealing with this world that is dying and
wholly bound by the enmity that exists within this dying world!
We have found the freedom that only The Lord Jesus dwelling within
us can bring. Make this relationship your FIRST Priority and
everything that you desire for others will flow from that relationship!
The Main Thing The Lord Desires is Us! Each and every one of us!

That all should come to eternal life is Our Lords desire but, WE must
concentrate on pleasing The Father In His Desire for Us FIRST then all
else that He Desires will flow naturally from Our Deep Relationship With
Him In and Through Christ Jesus.

The True Battlefield, in the Spirit, is Our Lives. This battle must
be won FIRST, then we will be well equipped to fight that good fight
wherever we may find ourselves in this dying world.

May The Fathers Blessings be always Yours My Young Friend!
In and through Christ Jesus!

1 Corinthians 13

Though I speak with the tongues of men and Angels, and have not love,
I am as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I had the gift of prophecy, and knew all secrets and all
knowledge, yea, if I had all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and
had not love, I were nothing.
And though I feed the poor with all my goods, and though I give my
body, that I be burned, and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
Love suffereth long, it is bountiful; love envieth not; love doth not boast
itself, it is not puffed up, It doth no uncomely thing, it seeketh not her
own things, it is not provoked to anger, it thinketh no evil;
It rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
It suffereth all things, it believeth all things, it hopeth all things, it
endureth all things.
Love doeth never fall away,
though that prophesyings be abolished, or
the tongues cease, or knowledge vanish away.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect, is come, then that which is in part shall be
abolished.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought
as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see through a glass darkly; but then shall we see face to
face. Now I know in part; but then shall I know even as I am known.
And now abideth faith, hope and love, even these three;

but the chiefest of these is love. (Agape Love)

Ephesians 2:10

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
