Remember that God cannot and will not work through sin. And He will not work through strongholds. God breaks down and makes desolate things that are against Him and His Word. But He is also faithful and will rebuild in His Image.
Everything on this earth has come from the earth and so shall it return. But God wants you in your rawest form so that He can mold you back into His perfect image.
I believe I am at the same place I have been hitting my head against a wall most of my life and God is breaking that wall down, possibly using my head because I'm stubborn. But He will break down the walls and let light come in on you and dwell in and with you.
The deepest darkest depressions are to get you to a point to see His light. If you live in a world of light and it is not of God then why would you seek God? God uses the tools at His disposal to put you in dark places so that you will seek Him and He can use this to Glorify Himself in you and through you. God breaks down to build up. Know that He loves you and that this is why He does these things and why He has Satan there to be a thorn in your side as Paul had a thorn in His side to keep him humble.
To whom much is given, much is required in return. The more you suffer, which is not of God but is used by Him to refine you and to help you see the true light of Truth.
These times are to refine you and hone your senses to His Voice and His Calling in your life. Seek the Kingdom of God, sow what you would want to reap, and may it be that you sow what God has asked you to sow, so that you shall reap that which God wants you to reap. So wheat and mustard seeds, to reap the Kingdom of God and the Faith of God.
