TOPIC: A family in Need indeed

A family in Need indeed 7 years, 1 month ago #571

I would ask prayer for a family I have known for over 20 years now and used to babysit their children. Early this morning March 25th 2k5 their daughter was out bar hopping with two friends and one of her friends was driving the car.

Her alcohol level was .2, but she was not driving. Her friend was driving and they hit a telephone pole. Maria the young woman I used to babysit is in the ICU and is from the Dr's standpoint practically brain dead with a major blunt forced trauma to the forhead and right side of her skull. They are waiting for her to be pronounced brain-dead so that her organs can be donated upon her request via the license donor mark on her driving license. She leaves behind a brother and sister and her parents and her 5 year old son. I believe she is 19 or 20.

The guy driving the car is in a coma other than that I do not know his condition.

The other female in the car was killed I'm guessing at the scene. And she leaves behind her newly wed husband a little over a year in marriage and her 12 month old son. I'm guessing she has both her parents but that is information I don't know for sure.

Please pray for the families involved in this wreck and also those that suffer these problems around the nation. It is not natural for parents to outlive their children, but it does happen. I have been to Maria's bedside and prayed over her and asked that if it is His Will to raise her up and heal her, but I leave that to God for His Glory and Magnification.

Amen!

I will hold this girl and her family in my prayers. May Gods Holy will be done. Please brother, keep us updated on her condition.

God bless you.

Maria, died early Sunday morning a week ago. She was brain dead, but had minimal life signs from her brain stem. She held on until she heard her sons voice and video via cell phone and died there after.

Mac her son has been given over to her real father and will be taken care of by him. He seems to have gotten his life in order at least to be able to take care of his son and has been taking responsibility during the weekends before Maria passed away.

I pray for Maria's family and their greiving, but I also pray that they seek God Almighty, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in all His spledor and wonder. I pray that Maria is with Jesus now and is in heaven being taken good care of now. Which only Jesus can do.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, they are still needed for this family even in the loss of their youngest daughter.
God Bless & Keep You,

Tristan
