Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!

Yolanda, please know that I have prayed for you in your time of need. May our heavenly Fathers' will be done!

Now, it is time you take out your bible and read it from the beginning of Genesis straight through the end of Revelation. Read it for yourself, and also read it to the little one God has entrusted into your care. When you finish, start over. Keep doing this and do not stop! Our Lord commands us to read his word constantly, pray constantly and seek him constantly. Now is the time to obey Him. Now is the time to deny all worldly temptations.

The old testament is filled with the word of God telling us about obediant servants and disobediant servants. He does not like us to ignore Him and disobey Him. The Israelites failed to trust Him when they came to the promised land because they feared the people there. As a result, our Lord sent them back out into the desert for 40 years, and said not one man who disobeyed me will enter the promised land, but all shall perish in the desert. This was the chosen people of God! Moses prays to the Lord during the days in the desert for water because the people were grumbling and God told him to strike his staff upon a rock and water would be provided. Moses did so, but took all the credit upon himself and gave none to God. God was angry with him and Aaron, so He told the both of them they would not enter the chosen land. Aaron died shortly after, but Moses continued on for the remainder of the 40 years, leading the people of God to the promised land, but not into it. God called him onto a mountain to show him the land, then Moses died and was taken by God.

The Israelites denied Him again and again after being saved out of Egypt and wanted Samuel to name them a king. Our Lord told Samuel to grant them their wish for denying Him as their king by giving them a corrupt king in Saul. Because Saul forgot what the Lord had done for him, he payed the ultimate price and lost all. King David replaced Saul as a great servant of the Lord, but he too disobeyed by committing adultry and having the womans' husband assigned to the front line in battle to ensure his death. The Lord punished him by taking his first born son of this woman and causing great upheaval in his family and kingdom.

Our Lord gave the old testament to His people, Jews and Christians alike, as an example of His justice and love for us. As proof, He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. The prophetic books in the old testament as well at the books of Moses are filled with prophecy concerning the first coming of our Lord, His life, death, resurrection and also, His second coming. The new testament was then given to us christians to spell it all out for us, but an understanding of the old testament is essential to truly get the big picture.

The United States of America is now like the Israel of old. We have denied our God, and put ourselves above Him. He is about to change all of that soon by rebuking this country very hard, and calling out His church!

Therefore, it is very important right now to turn over our lives to Jesus Christ our Lord and follow Him. We MUST stay focused on Him now more than ever. We must be enveloped in His word and have repented for our sins because the times ahead of us are very tumultous at best. We must stick together as the Body of Christ and continue to pray for one another and hold each other up. Most of all, we must above all else, put Him first in our lives.

I originally started this to let you know I have prayed for you, and am praying for you, but the Lord put all of this into my heart to nudge you along because He loves you dearly and hears your prayers. He wants you to continue coming to Him, but wants all of your concerns and joys all of the time. He doesn't want you to forget that. Ok?

With sincere love,

Your brother in Christ
