Please pray for me, my Father has hurt real bad in tha pass, I have forgiven but my sister keeps bringing it up and it fuels old feeling. I desire to do everything the Father desire me to do, I cannot do it without God so I need your prayers. I will also be fasting tommorrow for me to know the Father will . I love God so much I desire to do his will, it scares me so bad that I do not know, because I never want to forsake him. When I was younger I did, by bothering tarot cards and astrology. I am not sure what his will is , but I trust him and not me or the world.

God's will for you is to forgive your father and anyone else who has hurt or wronged you in the past. Bringing up the past is like picking at a sore...the hurt will never heal. Remember God forgives us as we forgive others. I too fell into witchcraft and reading tarot cards,etc. when I was younger. Thanks be to God and a born again Christian, I was saved!!! (Thank you Debbie Rasmussen wherever you are!!) Because you have forsaken those old sinful ways, satan is trying to use your sister's pain and yours to bring those old painful memories up again and again, so that you feel worthless, anger, doubt, and unforgiveness. Once you fall into that trap, then you start doubting God and then the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. (Which by the way is what satan wants.) You need to tell your sister that if she cannot say anything good about your father or she cannot forgive him, then do not talk to you about him. It would be nice to help her get over her harsh feelings for him, but since it only brings you unrest and pain then you are not the one to be able to help her. I also had a relative that wanted to keep bringing up the "ugly" past....I finally sat her down and explained that I had no part in her unforgiveness, and anger. I explained that I was a born again Christian. That I was a new person in Christ, so the past was irrelevant to me. I offered to help her get over her pain, but she wanted to cling to that part of her life and didn't want to forgive. But she did agree to not bring that area of our lives into conversations with me. She agreed and although sometimes I had to remind her of it, she eventually stopped trying to talk to me about it....It was amazing, because after awhile our conversations became more filled with current affairs, and eventually we ended up even laughing about events in the past that we thought were funny...all negative memories were forbidden topics. I am happy to say that because of prayer and God's grace, she is saved also and no longer holds onto that bitterness. I will pray for you to find the peace you are seeking. Remember Jesus said...My peace I give you, not as the world gives, but as the Father in heaven gives.
