Thank you for the replies and private messages. I have been proactive and have started to research what to expect if she decides to proceed with divorce after August 31 2005. I will be attending (secular) meetings which inform you what to expect if the other person wants to continue with divorce.

Kinda feel numb all over. Trying to stay pleasant with her. I want this to work and any harsh words wont help... so i will be nice to her. She told her brothers, dad, mother, step father and step mother about the trial separation. So far this news has not been well recieved.

I just dont get it. 5 kids involved... how can this be good? She tells me the kids will adjust and rebound... they are resilient. What a crock of bull s*&t. They will be mentally scarred for life if this goes ahead. Why cant she see this. She is supposed to be a christian. She knows this is wrong.

Only divine intervention will save this marriage. There is no other hope. None.
