I also remember Rev. Barr saying the economy did collapse already, even though I have not seen much signs of it, except for gas prices. But I guess I have not been looking.
I was going to ask Rev Barr privately, but I guess this should be a more public question. What should we do with our bank accounts, mutual funds, stock portfolios, retirement accounts, and the like? I have been praying about this but have not been getting a response from God. When that happens, I let God be God and let the situation play out until He tells me otherwise.
Hi there Blue, and everyone else.
Yes, I did say that the Economy did already collapse by the end of 2004, for that is what the Lord said to me.
I look out there and say to myself, why does it look the same?? And a word says, "Look Closer", and when I look closer, I see that it is
NOT the same.
It is
Not the stock market that we are to look at. It is
Not the Newspapers or the TV reports that we are to look at. For there is where everyone is putting on that big brave face, and telling each other that everything is OK, that it is only a glitch in the economy, and that it will be bouncing right back.
Look at the Factories, look at the stores,
there is where you will see that we have crashed, that the economy is falling like a rock that has not yet hit the bottom.
I have watched as factory, after factory, after factory, has closed their doors for lack of orders for their products. While these are small factories, and many not directly involved with them hardly notices them yet, there are a lot of them. There are not enough orders for their products, for them to stay in business. Why? Because the stores are having trouble selling what they have on their shelves.
So there have been more and more people being put out of work in this country. But who notices? Some have been out of work for more than two years, so they are out of the job market, and no longer being reported by the government as looking for work. There is no work where they live. The only ones being reported as jobless, are the new ones who have recently been thrown out of work, so the numbers reported are not true numbers of the unemployed.
Now you see one of the Big Giants of industry, GM, telling us that they will have to lay off, put out of work 25,000 people this year, closing factories.
It has been estimated that every worker is supporting 5 other workers. At the grocery stores, clothing, shoes, entertainment, restaurants. So when these 25,000 workers hit the street, that will mean that they will stop spending at all these other stores, so those stores and businesses now have to lay off some of their workers, for they no longer have enough business to keep paying those workers.
That means that when those 25,000 workers hit the streets as unemployed, that there will be an additional 125,000 workers who will also be put out on the street unemployed, for a total of 150,000 put out of work by GM.
You see, there is a chain reaction going on here. You hear about the Big ones, but you don't hear about the little ones, unless they are in YOUR town.
Have you not noticed what the stores are doing? Look at all the Rebates on top of Rebates on top of discounted prices on most products, in an attempt to sell that product that people had stopped buying. They have to move the product off of the shelf, or close the doors of their stores themselves. They have less and less profits, and soon they too will have to close their doors. Then I have watched the price of many items actually be lowered even before they tack on to these lower prices those rebates.
When your neighbor is out of work, it is a recession. When you are out of work, it is a Depression. And you stop buying anything you don't absolutely need to keep on living. A very large part of the people of this nation is out of work, a much larger number than the Government is reporting. The government is picking up the minimum support of many of these people for a short time, but the government is about to go into bankruptcy themselves.
Then we look overseas, and we see the same thing happening in almost every country. The movers and shakers are desperately trying to keep the money source stable, but countries have been abandoning the Dollar as the money of the world business world, to the Euro, and now look at what is happening to The Euro in just the last week or so. The Dollar has been collapsing, and now the Euro is starting to Collapse. They switched from the dollar to the euro and soon they will have nothing either way. The entire world, and not just the United States is having their Economy breaking down in this year.
I see the prophecies being fulfilled as we watch.
As for what you should be doing with your bank accounts, mutual funds, stock portfolios, retirement accounts, and the like?
Do what ever you want with them, In no more than a year and a half, they will be totally worthless. You ask how so? For the War will be upon us. When the Nuclear bombs go off all over the world, and the U.S., and the armies of 6 different nations invade America, randomly killing people as they go through the land, just what do you think your stock and bonds will be worth? When the banks close, what good will your money be in that bank when you can't get it back out? What retirement accounts? With 1/4 of the world's population dead, when you are starving to death, fighting for anything at all to eat, do you really think that there will be any kind of retirement accounts?
You see, God already gave you a response, in the prophecies which He has already given to us, warning us through Raymond, through Thomas Gibson.
