But if anyone could help me with this witnessing-thing. I was told to go door-to-door again and speak, for tonight (that is, tomorrow night).

Remember when I said I had a brush-in with the cops? A few of the neighbors called in and waved down a police car to arrest me. You cannot witness on private property without a permit in this county. In order to get a permit, you have to declare yourself to be part of a what I like to call a "sanctioned institution". I found out that Mr. Policeman didn't like my answer of 'The Body of Christ' when he demanded to know what church I went to that was making me do this. He had the dumbest look on his face.

Could you all pray and ask God for some giudance in this? If I knock on anymore doors, I can see myself getting arrested. I told God I wanted to go out there, and I would be willing to be arrested, but I feel like the Good LORD wants me to stay out of trouble for awhile while still doing His Will.

I was considering tacking up a letter to each door using parables to teach the Truth to them and offereing a way to reach me.

You could always pass out flyers and if someone asks you you can then talk with them. That way you are not breaking any laws but sharing whats on your heart because they asked first.

we want to bring people to ray's site ,not scare them away,my experience with the lord is you must discern the spirit's very carefully,the lord only directs me to certain people ,for not everyone will be saved ,so far everyone he has directed me toward thinks the same as me nomatter what denomination they are,concentrate on people you know ,family friends ,co-workers etc.,even thou at times he has directed me toward complete strangers,but they always think the same as me ,i believe certain people need what i call a jump start to show them they need to let the holy spirit into there lives more and from there god takes over,i never talk to someone on my own ,i always ask the holy spirit to talk for me ,there's times i talk to people about the lord and how it relates to our life for hours, then can't remember one word i told these people, for i'm only a man who has thoughts of man,i would suggest you go into deep prayer with the lord on how he wants his will done,it always gets worse before it gets better

i don;t know if i can even help, anyone, but it would seem to me that the bdy of Christ is not confined to any church, as to witnessing, i would recomend obeying the law, a render unto ceaser sort of thing, besides there is another verse that says we must obey the law, also regarding witnessing it is not an imediate thing that must be pushed huridly, unless God has told you different, i am 44 years old and i have found that if you follow God your light will automatically shine from within, and when you have occasion to answer why then offer it. it sometimes takes time.

"blessed are you , when men persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake.

notice that the verse above says

""Let your light so shine. . . . That they may see your good works" and it does not say so they can hear what you are telling them, i believe the light shines from within; in other words i believe that if you follow Gods laws in you heart, that in itself will be a witness, and witnessing can simply be done in all manner of life. not just in direct confrentation. i also believe that some things take time,

I was wondering how it is that you're approaching these people? Why they're so scared that they're waving down cop cars to take you away? Maybe it's in your approach to them, that's frightening them? If you've tested the spirit and it's truly the Holy Spirit that is guiding you to them, then there must be a proper way that you must approach them. You said that it's private property, so is it something that's like gated, or you have to walk up a long driveway into anothers property? Maybe if you wrote them a letter or called them, and got to know them, introduced yourself that they'd let you sit down and talk. Yours in Christ, Stephanie
