Are the words of Hosea 8:7 appropriate for today....For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind? Are the "they" Hosea is talking about those Jews and Christians who reject correction from their God? There are some in Christendom who are proclaiming that hurricane Katrina is but one response from the God of Israel for what the Quartet (US, EU, UN, Russia) has imposed upon the people of Israel, especially the latest "deportation" of Jews from Gaza, including the dead from the cemeteries. I would have to agree with them, however, everyone should be careful not to rejoice that God has taken vengeance upon the Gentiles in New Orleans. For those who would take pleasure in this hurricane have forgotten that all of us are born with a sin nature and deserve the wrath and judgment of the God of Israel. I am continually reminded by the scriptures, and the Spirit within me, that if it were not for the shed blood of Jesus Christ and the faith he has given me, an eternal Hell is my destiny. Never forget that the God of Israel is a God of both wrath and mercy, and those who follow him are to offer forgiveness and love to those who reject his grace, while warning them that the consequences for rejecting him over and over again is a whirlwind of troubles directly from him. I have posted below a humbly written and honest newsletter I received recently from a friend that prompted me to write to all of you. She is not rejoicing, but grieved in her heart that people are hurting. Her name is Amy. Contact her if you so desire. She understands this tragedy is a direct result of coercing Israel to divide its God-given land, and the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Gaza just completed. She would agree that America's embrace of legalized abortion, homosexual lifestyles, and embrace of a religious system that is saturated with false doctrines has helped blind it to the truth of Israel and America in prophecy. The leaders of America are playing with fire when they mistreat the Jewish people and Israel, even though Israel is in rebellion to their own Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, and are now coming under his judgment for trusting in America, rather than him. America's betrayal and seduction of Israel will only get worse. Israel's trust in America/Babylon will also deepen, in spite of being warned. God is using America/Babylon to punish his chosen people and they can't see it. But woe be unto the person or nation who the God of Israel uses to judge his own people. Biblical history books are filled with examples of how the Gentile kingdoms were destroyed by God after he used them to punish Israel. America's end will be no different, Revelation 18. Please read the article "Babylon's Final Fall" posted on my web site for more details. Furthermore, this whirlwind called Katrina is also a warning to Christendom to repent for the three pillars of pollution they have sown to the wind which are found in 1 John 2:16...(1) Militant "patriotism" (pride of this life) guided by the "just" war doctrine for Christians. (2) The "prosperity" gospel (lust of the eyes or the love of money) of the lukewarm Laodecians. (3) The new age "psycho-babble" (lust of the flesh or love of self and pleasures) of the purpose-driven and possibility-thinking movements. I have written several articles and letters covering these three lies that have completely consumed most in Christendom. As I wrote in my last "Solomon is Calling" letter, Jesus Christ is returning soon to establish his government on this Earth for one thousand years and has warned those who have fallen into grievous sin to....repent or else, Revelation 2 and 3. The "or else" is his judgment which will only get stronger as time passes. After sending out thousands of these letters around the nation, only a handful of people have come out of their slumber. But the seeds have been planted in their hearts, and hopefully many others will awaken soon. Your eternal friend. I am going out on a limb with what I am about to say. It may strike a nerve, and I am sorry if that does happen. But in these days people must hear the TRUTH, even if it is uncomfortable. I knew, as this country has pushed the "roadmap to peace" in Israel that for our country there would be dire consequences. And as I watched the people of Gaza Strip driven from their homes, I knew in my spirit there would be very swift (within a few weeks at best) consequences for our country. In case you don't know, the USA is the driving force behind these agreements. I just wasn't prepared for the obvious parallel in reaping what we sowed. It was just a couple of weeks ago, that we watched the people of Gaza driven, weeping, from their homes. They were forced to leave their homes on and near the sea, as their government then came in and bulldozed those homes. Where are these people now? They are in government shelters and government housing. They are basically homeless. Now look at our situation. Our neighbors on and near the sea have been driven from their homes and their homes have been destroyed. They, too, are weeping and homeless, dependent on the government. One can scoff and say that this is just coincidence, but there are no coincidences in the Lord. The Bible says that we reap what we sow, and that those who bless Israel will be blessed, and those who curse Israel will be cursed. I have been told by several people that government officials (even up to the VERY top) have been warned of the consequences of forcing Israel to give up land. And I believe that would be like the Lord to warn first. However, our government did not heed the warning, but pressed on with what seemed right in their own eyes. I hope this will give us all better understanding of the verses in Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." If you need Scripture for a confirmation of "recompense" for removing Israel from its territory, see Joel 3. Even in the midst of this destruction here in our country and for those in Israel, God is at work. He CAUSES all things to work together for good for those who are called according to His purposes. Many will call upon His Name during these days and be saved. So pray that people will open their eyes and call upon Him. I certainly don't pretend to know all the ways of the Lord, but this seemed pretty easy to discern. In these days let us all seek the Lord while He can still be found. My love to you all. Rev. Barr, what you posted made a lot of sense,
I understand the parallels, and I don’t see any reason to disagree. I didn’t even understand that we were involved with Gaza. What I did hear or the impression I got from the news was that this was something that Israel had agreed upon, I didn’t think we had anything to do with it. The news gave the impression that this had been agreed upon a long time ago. I didn’t know it was going to happen, but it sounded like they did. All of sudden it was happening and in all the papers. I don’t think I paid that much attention as far as really trying to understanding and to know what was really going on and why it was happening. But like so many other times when something political happens and hits the news, they report it like you already know the background of the story. I had such an uneasy feeling about it, I felt upset and I didn’t really know why. I read about it in the paper trying to find the significance that I just felt was there. I kept thinking about it, thinking this has to be a big deal. When I read what you posted I started to cry. I prayed and told the Lord I was sorry and ashamed for my country becoming so wicked and for what my government does. I feel for the people who have lost everything and are suffering, as I know everyone does. I pray for mercy and for them to turn to the Lord. But I still feel uneasy and a little paranoid about not doing the right thing, not pleasing the Lord. I thought I was on the right track, I felt secure or mostly secure in the Lord, right now I don’t. I feel that many of the people suffering could already saved, and others will become saved. But many will be angry with God for this, or say how could there be a God. But most will be okay. Okay, I’m rambling again but how bad will this get. Why don’t they help the people at the first place they put them, where conditions are so bad? And now they won’t let them leave. I heard on the news from the reporters who were there, Sheppard Smith and Geraldo that they won’t let them leave and that no help had come or was coming. Today they showed Bush down there comforting and hugging people that are not in as bad a situation, like a politician kissing a baby. I think he is companionate and I think he is really a man who believes. I don’t want this being turned into a Republican/Democrat thing. But so far it doesn’t look good. Some on TV, mostly celebrities are insinuating that it’s racial and or economic - who gets help first. I even heard it said that this could be an excuse to just shoot them, meaning black people. I don’t think that is happening, but some people hate Bush so much, that they will say anything even making things worse just to hurt his presidency. Okay I’m rambling again, I know everyone else is watching the news too. Even when you understand why, what do you do, what can you do. You pray, and keep praying, you witness and you keep repenting. That’s what you do. I rambled on until I think I answered my own question. I wrote this last night, but didn’t post it - I guess because I thought it sounded like silly, depressed rambling from watching too much news. I’m posting it today anyway. From what I’ve seen on the news today, things are improving and most are out of the Superdome. God Bless, MerMer Rae |

Bless you Mer Mer Rea
I apologize, for I keep forgetting that people cannot connect the dots when they don't know where the dots are. I, like so many others, have watched as president after president of America has tried to get Israel to accept a Palestinian State. This is what is usually referred to as the "Road Map" or "the Road Map to Peace." The Presidents each in turn has brought both side together and tried to create the Palestinian State out of part of Israel. (To be noted is that the Palestinians never did ever have a nation of their own, never. But now they claim that the Israelites stole it from them. ) What I post below of Thomas Gibson's prophecies are only a small part of the total picture. They are only a few of the many dots which have to be connected to see the whole picture. Many of the dots are in stories that have been published all during the last 15 – 20 years. How can we show all of you these dots? We remember them, but we cannot show them to you, for we did not record or save each of them when they happened. Yes, Israel is only giving up the Gaza Strip because of Extreme pressure from America. And America is and will continue to suffer for what Our Government leaders have done. So, except for the few prophecies which I quote below, you will have to be satisfied with us telling you that when we connect all the dots that we can see that the pulling out of people out of the Gaza Strip and giving it to the Palestinians has caused a direct connection to the destruction of Hurricane Katrina on America. Every one of us who have watched over the last half a century, and also belong to the Lord God Jesus, has seen the same picture of God's Judgments. And believe me when I tell you that this is only the beginning, the worst is yet to come. Since 1990, I, like many others, have watched the judgments of God falling on America, each one becoming more severe than the last one, and yet the people do not repent and return to the Lord. Thomas Gibson's prophecies: 2002 08 18.1 As I was praying the Lord showed me the following in my spirit. I could see President bush from his left side sitting at a desk or table. He was saying, "We must get Saddam Hussein, we must get Saddam Hussein." (He said it twice.) As I watched he signed some type of paper. But he signed it with his left hand from the right to the left – just as the Arabic language is written. He signed this twice. I could not tell if he was signing two papers one above the other, or twice on the same page. Then the Lord gave me this word. Thus says the Lord, these two statements by Bush, plus the two signatures, indicate each two agreements with Arabic nations. These two agreements are compromises by Bush in order to get permission to go into Iraq. When he signs them, says the Lord, this will create ruffled feathers both in America and in Arabic areas as they find out what is agreed to; which will not be done until some time later. 2002 08 24.1 The first agreement [see 2002 08 18.1] the American President will make with the Arabic nations is to strongly support a Palestine state in the West Bank. The second agreement will be their right to the capital of Jerusalem. The U.S. President will then backtrack on these two agreements creating trouble on both sides – first to the right wing American politics, and then to the Arabic states. 2002 10 23.1 While I was in prayer I could see in my sporit President Bushy as I had seen hinm earlier [see 2002 08 18.1]. I watched him signed again. But this time it continued and I saw him lean back in his chair and say, "I will do anything to get into Iraq." Then the lord gave me this word: For thus saith the Lord. What you have seen is right. He has said it and has meant it. 2002 11 1.1 For thus says the Lord. America is due judgment. My hook is in Bush's nose to pull him into war with Iraq. And when he goes to war, America will be judged in a great way. For thus says the Lord. America, America why have you forsaken Me? 2003 03 28.1 As America's invasion of Iraq in the '98 bombing brought about September 11 [see4 prophecies 2001 09 13.1 and 2002 11 1.1], so too will this invasion into Iraqi soil bring terrorism on American soil. I have purposed in My heart that America shall be judged – and so it shall. |
