Bless the Lord our Master Builder

Last month i built a small wall in the back of my house , at the end of my drive. It was the first time i laid block. After i finished the wall i had a dream.

In the dream i saw a wall like unto the one i built. I saw that this wall had no foundation , and it had no morter , save a little in some spots. The wall was weak and could be pushed over , heck it looked as if it was going to fall over. It was a disterbing dream. I prayed for understanding , and shared it with my friends.

The next night i dreamed another dream. Again i seen this wall , yet this time it was more clear what was going on. This wall was to be built by many people , yet these people werent doing there jobs right.

Days went by and i had another dream. I seen as it were far off , rows of walls. From far away they didnt look to bad. I saw as some men were putting one up , i went to take a closer look.

I got up close and got a good look , they laid there blocks in dirt , there was no foundation. The blocks were not level with one another . The wall was complelely unstable , they had to hold it up while building because it kept wanting to fall over. I saw as the blocks had spaceing in them as if there was morter , but there was no morter. They packed dirt up against the blocks to hold the wall up. I saw as they labored so hard on this wall , useing much more energy and effort than if they would have just laid a good foundation and used morter. I seen as they jumped on the blocks to set them in place. Trying to force them in place , one of the men fell and droped the block with him and hit his head hard. It was a tiresome and vain thing they were doing , it was pointless the wall was good for nothing. What a shame ! What a shame ! How angry is the One who Hired them going to be when He sees what they have done?

Jesus said to count the cost before building.
Jesus said to build a house on rock and not sand (dirt).
Those who build without God and His Word, the Holy Bible, as their foundation build in vain, labor in vain.

God told Jerimiah to call to Him and He would answer and show great and mighy things (Jer 33.3). Jesus said to ask Him and He would give. Pursue God and His wisdom and understanding and He will give it. Serve God and worship Him only and love your neighbor as yourself.

What I see from what you have written is this:
There are many builders building works unto God. They labor in vain because there is no God in their building. They prop up their works by their works and show what they have built. Any stress placed on the walls will make them fall. Their works will fail them because they have not put God in their works. It does not matter how many walls they have built or how many people they have used to establish their works. They are still without God and therefore will fail. It is only a matter of time.

Pursue God through Jesus, through His Holy Spirit, through His Word, the Holy Bible. Seek first His kingdom in your life THEN all these other things will be added to you.

In the realm of the prophetic, do not pursue being a prophet, but do pursue being a servant of the Most High God. The judgment on a prophet is great because they speak for God. If one who desires the office of the prophet truly seeks God for the prophetic gift, then their life becomes forfeit. Their life is no longer theirs but God's for the Church and to the nations. If a prophet prophesies on his/her own, then they prophesy of themselves and not of God. If a person desires the Lord to work through them in the gifts or office of prophecy, then they must be willing to walk the walk the Lord has set before them.

I warn you. There are many false prophets, those who prophesy of themselves or under the influence of the devil. Only by knowing the Word of the God, the Holy Bible, for yourself will you know what God's perfect will is. Know God's Word and humble yourself that you may know what God's will is for your life. Seek the Lord while He may be found. Amen?

from my understanding , no man can choose his place in Christ.

Many are called but few are chosen. Many are called into God , many called to be prophets. You cant choose to be a prophet , niether can you choose to be an apostle. Its God who chooses our places. The only thing we can do is choose to obey. Its God who ordains , who annoints with His Spirit for His Work ,that He made each of us for. We cant decide what God made us for , for God decided before He made the World. So its pointless to seek to be this or that. Just seek to do Gods will , and ask Him to open your eyes to what that is.

There is a common calling in the Body of Christ. A calling that everyone of us must do. Let us focus on that calling. Even to do as Jesus Teaches. For this no doubt is pleaseing to God.

I think also that if we dont focus on that calling to do as Jesus Teaches us. Then we are as the men seen in my dream. Building that wall with no morter and upon no foundation.
Jesus says ,

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

drdave , im sorry for not welcomeing you to this site in my responce to you. I can see you havent posted anything sence. I do agree what you have written , i was only adding my thoughts. I hope i didnt scare you off.

And that is an interesting look at the dreams i was given. So far with also the thoughts of my friends , there seems to be many possible meanings to what i seen. But as of yet , no clear interpretaion from the Lord. But i think its very important to the Lord God , that He would show me this 3 times. And who doesnt humble himself when the Lord speaks about the church of Man? Or who doesnt examine his life when being shown such a thing?

any how i wanted to ask your forgiveness for seeming to be so rude.
