For some Christians it is hard to imagine the Lord talking to his people…perhaps because the Lord does not talk to all his people in the same manor. Also, the Lord does not tell of his future intentions to all of the parts of the body individually. If you do not know which part of the Body of Christ you are then ask the Lord to reveal it to you. The Lord has chosen me to be an ear in the body of Christ…If I represent any other parts of the body then he will let me know…It is strange that I am an ear because I am a bit hard of hearing. It comes to mind that before becoming a Christian I had collected certain items that now have meaning to me as a Christian:
Bells, bears, candles and hearts…I do not collect anything anymore. Bells are representative of something bad happening when the bell stops ringing…it comes from Old Testament time. Bears are an animal that occasionally will show up around near where I live…in: Isaiah 11:7 The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. In the book of Enoch it tells of cows that represent people. A bear is also known in: Daniel 7:5 “And there before me was a second beast, which looked like a bear. It was raised up on one of its sides, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. It was told, ‘Get up and eat your fill of flesh!’ In Genesis a rib represents a woman and that is what the bear had in his mouth…3 Eve’s who were in his mouth…I am going to start fresh on this subject latter. Candles represent lamps which represent: Revelation 22:5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. And finally we come to hearts which is represented in: Hebrews 8:10 This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. The Lord God had made a covenant with his people known as the Israelites…he turned his back on the ones who he had led out of Egypt when they did not remain faithful to his covenant. You do not want to be facing the Lord’s back!!!!!!! God is always faithful to those who remain in his covenant. This scripture is a testimony to all who need to know that the Jews who have turned their backs on Jesus will not be saved. The Lord God tells us that he has written his laws on his peoples minds and hearts…remember that there is the old law and there is the new law…Jesus is known as the new law. If the Lord had placed Jesus on the Jews hearts and minds then they would know him and would be in a covenant with the Lord of heaven and earth. You still do not believe that the Lord has a covenant with the Christians and not with the Jews? : Hebrews 8:13 By calling this covenant “new”, he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear. That last scripture says it all. Ok…it has been given to me that when I (not I but The Lord who is with me) come against hostility and persecution then what I am coming against is someone with a sinful mind: Romans 8:7 The sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. The person who is not living in God’s perfect will is not submitting to God’s law…he is not submitting to Jesus who is the law. If you are not submitting to Jesus by obeying all of his teachings then you will not believe or understand that which is saved for those who love God…for you can only love God if you are obeying the teachings of Christ Jesus. If you do understand and believe what God has given to me to give to the body of Christ then you can count yourself blessed more than most. If you are not blessing the body of Christ with a spiritual gift then it is time for you to ask the Lord to make you obey him…He can make you do this and if he decides to make you then you can be sure that you will understand and believe that which the Lord had me give to the body of Christ. James 2:1-13 -1- My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism. -2- Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. -3- If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you, “ but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” -4- have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? -5- Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? -6- But you have insulted the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? -7- Are they not the ones who are slandering the noble name of him to whom you belong? -8- If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing right. -9- But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. -10- For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. -11- For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not commit murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker. -12- Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, -13- because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment! A person dressed up nicely does not a Christian make…Always do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It is better to be poor in a worldly way and be loaded in faith…it is easier to love the Lord when you are relying on him…it is easier to inherit the kingdom that are for those who love him…remember that this is something that can only happen for those who love God and you can only love God if you obey all the teachings of Jesus. The rich are self serving and the poor are blessed if they obey Jesus…the poor who have faith in the Lord would not be dragging their fellow Christians into court. It is difficult for a rich person to live the way Jesus told us to live…remember to have nothing to do with evil…it is evil to slander the name of Jesus. It must be nearly impossible for the rich to inherit the kingdom of God. We as Christians are to live by the royal law…the law is from the Lord who is noble and we should live by a noble law. For ways to live by (as in a spiritual law) look at: Philippians 4:8-9 -8- Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever if pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. -9- Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me - put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Do not choose someone above all others because of outward appearances. We all have sinned but if you do something that goes against the teachings of Jesus then you will be convicted by the law which is Jesus. What happens to people who break the law? All who sin break the law… people who sin are slaves to sin…there is no permanent place in the family for slaves…that is why it is so important to accept Jesus Christ as your savior…He rescues us from the law…a little confusing…but it is important to know for those who want to love God and to do so they need to follow all of the teachings of Christ. Those who do not follow Jesus’ teaching does not love God as much as he or she loves another. You have heard that a person can not serve two masters…If you are wanting to inherit the kingdom then you need to love God and as you know you must obey the teachings of Jesus in order to love God…Perhaps this is hard for us because maybe God is not loving us the way he loves others…after all…we can love God because he loved us first. It is much easier to love someone when you are on the same page of life. The more we move ourselves to be instep and inline with the Lord the more we can be loved by God. This is pretty heavy for some because most people can not understand how they can only love God when they are obeying all of the teachings of Jesus. If you are living your life inline with Jesus then you will not run ahead of him or fall behind and then you will not stumble on him. It is impossible to keep from sinning completely unless the Lord prevents us from sinning. Ask the Lord to point out your sins to you everyday so that you can be in line with Jesus Christ. Repent and be glad for his mercy and show mercy to others for mercy does overcome judgment. In the end it does not matter what you accomplished as much as it matters who you love and serve. Those who love the Lord will know everything God wants to share. These people will be part of the elect. Make sure that your words and actions are the kind that brings judgment from Jesus which leads to freedom…Jesus brings eternal freedom. You do not want to be judged by someone else…without Jesus there is no mercy. If you are not merciful to others then you will be judged harshly. Being merciful to others saves us from judgment. It is important for those who have the Lord’s Spirit with them to listen to the Spirit for the Spirit places God’s law on our hearts and writes it on our minds. Pay attention to the Holy Spirit at every turn: Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 2:1-4 -1- We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. -2- For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, -3- how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. -4- God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. This is going to be hard for some to believe: It has been made clear to me that all angels come to serve those who are saved. It has been made clear to me that our Mighty Lord God and Jesus Christ are known as (Mighty) Angels at times. These angels are known as ministering spirits. I was told by the Spirit that the Angel of the Lord was with me at times and it is like having another spirit living in my body that I notice most of my waking hours. At this time I need to openly confess that the Lord God himself has been with me as a ministering Spirit and a whole lot more. It is very difficult to confess this because I know that people who are my own brothers and sisters in Christ will not believe this and in fact will tell me that I have an evil spirit within me…I have already been persecuted for telling fellow Christians that the end is upon us and for telling them the meanings of scripture that the Lord had revealed to me because the truth of the scripture is not what they believe it to mean…Jesus told us that if He was persecuted then we would be also…I do not want to have anyone treat me the way Jesus was treated by the Pharisees and the Sadducees…but it is time to share with the body of Christ that which I should never be ashamed of. The Lord is with me for the purpose of giving his Word to his children. If anyone should try to make me deny the Lord than I will tell them what Jesus told Peter: Matthew 16:23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.” The Lord has just revealed to me that the rebellion described is like what Jesus said about himself…of course the opposite is true…Jesus’ enemies treated him as if he were leading a rebellion…When in fact he was not. Mark 14:48-49 -48- “Am I leading a rebellion,” said Jesus, “that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? -49- Every day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts and you did not arrest me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled.” What Jesus had done did not deserve this type of reaction…he was not leading a rebellion. We can expect the rebellion to come from someone who is in trouble by trying to cause chaos. This person would be one who is hunted down with weapons and captured. The authorities would want to get rid of this person who is stirring up trouble for them. Directly after Jesus spoke about this he said to the people arresting him in Luke 22:53 …“But this is your hour - when darkness reigns.” Darkness reigns with these people who were fellow Jews…these Jews are nothing more than enemies of our Lord Jesus. Than Is why they will not inherit the kingdom of heaven…they do not love God and they do not have faith in Christ. This hour that darkness reigns is a strange saying. What can we learn from it?
