This morning the Lord gave me two visions. The first one was of an engraved silver spoon.
I heard of the expression of a silver spoon but didn't remember its meaning. I looked it up and it is of a rich child born with a proverbial silver spoon in the mouth, also be given something without working for it. To put it to a biblical context for me is that Christ gave us a gift of free salvation for dying on the cross and not by our own effort of works though, as Christians we gladly do works to do for his kingdom. The engraving I see as His suffering. The Lord impressed on me that the big problem is so many Christians are not living the life. Many people think there going to heaven just on the basis that in name they are Christians without serving, even those in the church. Today we compromise so many things and end up on the short end. Third world countries pray for us because we have so much and we are blinded by our own comforts. There are many people given to missionaries but stop there. We are to love each other in Christ's name and not our religion which causes arguments.
