I am finishing up a translation of Thomas Gibson into Spanish now, but I am a bit concerned about quality since I am not a native speaker. If you are a native speaker and would like to do your own read through on it to catch poor wording etc, please write. You can download the latest version of the translation of the first book here http://www.filefactory.com/file/7d2097/

also, please do not post the link elsewhere because it is not the final version of the text and so should not be given publicity and allowed to be cached by Google

updated versions of both books (20th and 21st centuries) with many errors fixed from the above version. I think these are very nearly the final version. I may do another read through, but since my Spanish is not getting any better, it probably will not help. If you can do a read through and pinpoint bad wording, that would be great. When pasting the link remove the whitespace between ? and f=

I have used the following translations for English phrases in Thomas Gibson's books which I suspect are of dubious quality. If somebody can tell me of possible mistakes and advise about better ways to say, that would be great.

Apostrophe means accented vowels, e.g. despue's

"you see, bla bla bla" : "entienden ustedes, ..." ?
"shall never be brought back" : "jama's sera' vuelto ..."?
"warning to repent" : "aviso para arrepentirse" ?
"great price to pay" : "gran precio para pagar" ?
belittle : apocar a?
"Porque en este día y época los que son de Mí, dice el Señor, estarán de pie, y los que no lo son, se caerán": can we say "no lo son" here?

"which side you walk on is up to you" : "En que' lado caminan depende de ustedes"?
"strong pull on you" : "fuerte arrastre sobre ustedes"?
"pick and choose a part here or a part there" : "escogen y seleccionan ..."?
download, "hacer un download"
"until they were out of site" (meaning sight) : "hasta que fueron fuera de la vista"?
"road wound back and forth" : "carretera doblaba de aca' para alla'"?
"I will get you" : "yo pillare' a ti"? (Gore says this to Bush in vision)
"every last thing" : "todas y cada una cosa"?
"make a stand" : "tomar una posicio'n" ?
