TOPIC: What are the Seven things that were sealed up?

What are the Seven things that were sealed up? 7 years, 2 months ago #364

Some bread to chew on:

Revelation 22:10

Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near.

The prophetic words of Revelation are not to be sealed up…Jesus is known as the Word of God and all references to Him are to remain unsealed. When the Mighty Angel came down and roared like a lion, it made the 7 thunders speak and John was told not to write it down and to seal it up. The 7 thunders come from God. What did the seven thunders say?

Revelation 10:3+4
-3- And he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke.
-4- And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

If the seven thunders are the thoughts or voices of God…why keep them sealed up unless they were 7 things that would be revealed during the days of the very end….revealed at a time when the Lord our Father wanted his thoughts revealed…Was it the Mighty Angels job to seal them up or was it John’s job?

If Jesus is the Mighty Angel and he sealed them up then he is the only one who can unseal them. What does it say about the John of Revelation? Two of Jesus’ disciples were brothers by the names of John and James. Jesus named them Sons of Thunder. What were they named Sons of Thunder for? If you notice there is a letter from James that is addressed to the 12 tribes scattered among the nations…the 12 tribes are the children (descendants) of Israel (Jacob) that Jesus came for.

Jesus did not want his fellow servants to say they were his servants but he wanted them to call themselves friends of him :

John 15:14-+15
-14- You are my friends if you do what I command.
-15- I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

If it says, in a New Testament Book that was written after the Lord Jesus went up to heaven, that the writer is a servant of Jesus then that means that Jesus learned something new that he did not know before he went up to heaven or that servant did not obey his commands…I tend to think that Jesus learned something new from God.

James 1:1-6
-1- James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ. To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.
-2- Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
-3- because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.
-4- Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
-5- If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
-6- But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
