Who are His Children…
For many years now I have felt in my spirit that we should still be keeping some of the "old" ways--observing Sabbath from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, keeping the feasts from the old testament, keeping the dietary laws by eating kosher--(science even backs up the validity of God's dietary laws), instead of Easter, Christmas and all of our man-made holidays. I just didn't know how to do it.........but have felt strongly about this because Jesus never said to stop doing them.
I've heard all the arguments about how the law has been "fulfilled", done away with, dietary laws don't matter anymore, etc.........yet my command from the Lord persists. So based on the verse listed below.....I urge all of you to pray, search your hearts, and to listen to the Lord about this matter. As for me and my house--we will serve the Lord and this is how we will be doing it from now on.
Please note: there is a difference between "Rabbinical law" and what the bible actually teaches. I will follow the scriptures. Everything in the first 5 books of the Old Testament points to Jesus Christ as our Redeemer and can be correlated with the New Testament. I can point you to resources and pastors who can explain and teach these things. I have tested the Spirit in this and am convinced.
I do not post this here to start dissension or controversy.......only to ask everyone to search their heart and to do as the Lord leads.....much depends on it in these coming days. Salvation comes by believeing --not works--yet faith without works is dead. Salvation does not depend upon doing things the old way--but we must serve the Lord in the way that He chooses--not by our own design.
Revelation 12: 17
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Who are His Children? Those that keep both the Law and confess Yeshua (Jesus) as Moshiach (Messiah). These are His children and He will do whatever is needed to protect them.
