any will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Zechariah 4.6
"... not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."
As it was told in the old testament even leaders who didn't believe in the power of Jesus Christ could cast out devils by saying "In the name of Jesus Christ...". Whoever calls on the name of Jesus WILL be saved. Prophecy does not always come from the one and true source of prophecy, the LORD. I recall sometime in the old testament a spirit was summoned that immitated a person that was supposed to be dead and with God, but arose from the ground... All these people that He won't know will have done things in His name and will have never truely believed.
John 11:25-26
"25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"
Notice it doesn't say those He will not know those that will speak in tongues, interpret tongues, handle snakes, be delivered from poisonous liquids etc. that he speaks of will be a sign unto unbelievers before He ascends (I can't remember exactly where, but this is stated in the Word).
We are not saved by works, but by grace alone
