I was laying down in bed and saying my prayers. I was at that time praying for the lost and backslidden when the Lord gave me a vision.
I saw a man on a ship. He spit out a fish and then a shark came and carried the fish away as soon as the man spit it out.

I was asking the Lord for understanding of this vision and He gave me the word "VOMIT".
Then I remembered in the bible where the Lord talks about vomiting the lukewarm out of His mouth.
(Rev 3:15,16)
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11

I feel that the Lord wanted me to add these verses:

Hebrews 3:12
Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.

Luke 3:9
The axe is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire."

Hebrews 4

1 God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. 2 For this good news—that God has prepared this rest—has been announced to us just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn’t share the faith of those who listened to God. 3 For only we who believe can enter his rest. As for the others, God said,

“In my anger I took an oath:
‘They will never enter my place of rest,’”

even though this rest has been ready since he made the world. 4 We know it is ready because of the place in the Scriptures where it mentions the seventh day: “On the seventh day God rested from all his work.” 5 But in the other passage God said, “They will never enter my place of rest.”

6 So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God. 7 So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted:

“Today when you hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts.”

God Bless
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Eating second hand food from man... 2 years, 8 months ago #4499

Hi Trin...
Does this make any sence?... a bit different slant but it is what came to me about your vision...

As you may know, sharks were one of the fish "without scales" that Yahveh forbid His people Israel to eat because they were unclean. (also called flake in fish shops, which I will not eat... nor octopus or "crustations" like prawns, crabs and oysters. I know I CAN eat them under the New Covenant but why would I do that on purpose when I know the Father doesn't like it?) I seem to remember hearing once that sharks are scavengers and will eat even dead rotting things. Is that right? We know they will grab fish off fish hooks too.

SO... re your vision...
that the shark RE - ate what a man had had in his mouth and spat out seems to me like a person accepting / eating second hand teaching from the words that come out of a man / preacher's mouth as so many do today... INSTEAD of going into their own prayer rooms with a good study Bible and concordance and praying on their faces and worshiping... just heart to heart, spirit to spirit and awaiting the Father's blessing and guidance and teaching by HIS HOLY RUACH SPIRIT.

Lord Yeshua / Jesus said when He, the spirit of truth comes to you... He will lead you into all truth and remind you of everything I have said... for he is the Spirit of Truth. Also "but when YOU pray, go into your room in secret and pray to your Father who sees you in secret and He will reward you openly"

In other words those who prepare themselves and go into the Holy Place of prayer and worship as a priest... and minister to the Lord are given something to bring out to give to the people. Or let's say they have Words symbolised by the "fish"... for Jesus cooked and gave His disciples fish to eat on the beachafter His resurrection.

And of course a good teacher / pastor will do this and have something to give others to "eat"... but this shouldn't be their ONLY source of spiritual words. They need to get their own fish / food / words directly from God! In fact a good teacher should encourage people to do this not to depend on him to keep feeding them. There again some teachers / ministers like the limelight and kep spitting out lots of "fish" to keep the people coming back and admiring to them.

Those who have a good and seeking heart will wants to hear His Voice for themselves... they not content in just "getting" a fish from someone else.

Those with "hard hearts" don't want to face up to God personaly in the "Garden" any more than Adam wanted the Lord to see his nakedness. There is an instinct to hide from God when we are not feeling close and right with Him through a personal relationship. That needs confession of sins and the covering of the blood of the lamb of God. (The Lord made Adam and Eve clothing made of animal skins to "cover them")

So those who greedily and lazily "get and eat" for themselves, not first hand from the Lord, but by only reading or listening to something passed on by another and go away again... may actually have "hard hearts" and not mean business with the Lord Himself. They may go to church etc. but actually have an evil heart of unbeleif.

Real Christians talk openly to each other about the Lord and don't want to hide it. Those in the light share fellowship with each other. Those in spiritual darkness and sin hide away and do their evil deeds in the darkness.

As you said...

Hebrews 3:12
Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.

So we can eat the fish / words from someone else's mouth... but then go away from them and the Lord... not producing any fruit of the Spirit in our own lives. Being hearers not doers of the Word.

Those who pretend to be Christians but only "spit" out to others what they have received from others... not what they have found and eaten fully for themselves... are hypocrites and the Lord WILL spit them out of His mouth for deluding others about their Godliness and spirituality. "Go away I never knew you!"... Outside you are like white washed tombs but inside you are like dead mens bones... clean the INSIDE of the cup.

Surely food for thought... and very awe inspiring. How terrible to find out we may NOT have had God's approval?

We must prepare our hearts... we must clean ourselves of all fithiness of the flesh and the spirit etc. We must confess our sins to God and each other. We all so need to be honest with Him...

Thanks Trin...
Love in Yeshua from Susan.

Hi Susan,

as you have rightly said in your post, we all need a good reminder to humble ourselves before the Lord...i really needed it too.

God bless you and all glory to Jesus!
