I noticed that on several different prophetic sites that St. Malachay's prophesy of the final pope (Peter the Roman) is interpreted the same way. When I looked at the actual Latin and what was actually written it was a little different. Now, as for authenticity of these 'Latin phrases' for each pope, it is said by the Catholic church that they aren't authentic. From the looks of all of it historically, things have been added here and there over several centuries.
Now, that being said, I do not know what to think. They could be real or they couldn't. I'm undecided on it all.
The real problem I have with this is that most websites are saying that what St. Malachy said about the final pope is that he will likely be evil and Satanic. When there is nothing of the sort written in this prophetic phrase. It is said that he will feed his sheep in difficult times. This says nothing about the man being evil. If this isn't Malachy's prophecy, who's is it? Why are so many sure that there will be such an evil pope?
I have come across some things said by Nostradaumus yet it is so hard to find anything that hasn't been tampered with. Everyone wants to add or take away from his writings. As for authenticity of Nostradaumus, I do believe he was revealed truth about some things and I do not believe it was demonic. I am not sure what to make of him, yet.
I appreciate any comments and let me add a word of warning:
Be careful about what you read and how it is written and who is given credit for writing it. Wouldn't you hate to be misquoted or have your prophecies mixed in with someone else's? Let us be open minded too. Let us use our brains and pray for discernment when we are reading prophecies.
