TOPIC: Jesus speaks of the end of times

Jesus speaks of the end of times 7 years, 1 month ago #692

I was reading in Matthew in the 24th chapter starting in the 4th verse to chapter 25: 46. This is pertaining to the question from the Apostles of what would be the signs of the end times.

Plainly Jesus describes this:

The beginning of sorrows,

1st - Many shall come in my Name and say, "I am Christ!".

2nd - Wars and rumor of wars (not the end).

3rd - Nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom
Famine, pestilence & earthquakes in different (divers) places.

This is the end of the time of sorrows and the beginning of the tribulation:

1st - They shall deliver you up to be afflicted and kill you (you = Christ followers or Christians)
They shall hate you of all nations for Jesus Christ's Name Sake.

2nd - Many will be offended by the Afflictions & Killing of the Christians.
- They will betray one another
- They will hate one another
- Many false prophets will rise to deceive many
- Iniquity shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold or grow
cold
- But he that endures til the end the same shall be saved.

3rd - The Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world for a
witness unto all nations (The Great Revival)
- The end shall come

This is the end of tribulation and the beginning of Great Tribulation (The):

1st - The Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet.
Here it is noted (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

2nd - Those in Judaea flee into the mountains (other nations)
- Those on housetops don't come down for anything.
- Those in the field don't return for clothes
- Woe to those with child & those with child that is suckling

3rd - They will say, "Lo! Here is Christ, or there": But believe it not
False Christs & False Prophets with great signs and wonders
If they say, "Behold He is in the desert." don't go to see
If they say, "Behold He is in the secret chambers." Believe it not.

Speaks of the Son of man being like lightning seen coming from the East and seen across the to the West (Revelations 8: 5 speaks of lightning and thundering and earthquakes before the trumpets judgments start.)

4th - Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun is darkened
and the moon shall not give it's light; stars shall fall from heaven and
the powers of heaven are shaken.

5th - And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and
then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the
Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great
glory.

6th - And He (Jesus) shall send his angels with a great sound of a
trumpet, and they shall gather his elect from the four winds. (The
trumpet is the first of seven trumpets that starts the Wrath of God
but not before the rapture of the elect from the four winds.)

This is the Wrath of God, I'm guessing that with the Daniel prophecies of 70 weeks being 7 years then the Great Tribulation's time is shortened to 3.5 years because Jesus says that that time must be shortened. And the rest of the 3.5 years of the Great Tribulation is the Wrath of God.

God's Wrath the 2nd half of the Great Tribulation:

1st - And now the seven trumpets sound which is the end of time. And now the millenial reign of Christ begins after all the seals, vials and trumpets. This is as far as I've gone so will finish this up later. Jesus at this point from Matthew goes on about parables of the kingdom of heaven and what it is likened to, but it seems plain to me the events that must take place before the rapture of the church (elect). The timing 3.5 years of Great Trib and 3.5 years of God's Wrath is speculation for me since I am not very good with 1000 years of our time is like 1 day to God and 70 weeks being 7 years etc...But soon I and you will know that truth But I don't want to put God in a box. This what I have written above Jesus spoke plainly of...So Revelations isn't a tough book of the Bible just a very harsh reality to deal with.

This is my interpretation of the end times but is also what Jesus said that they would be like...But find out for yourself by reading the Bible and do not depend upon my limited understanding of the Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding of God Almighty for far be it from me to say I am all knowing...I just separated each event when "then" was placed there to me meaning and this happened next...Then this happened etc...

May God Bless and Keep you always in the Blood of the Lamb,

I do not take this out of context to prove that the Great Tribulation is only 3.5 years, but this is very interesting that in the time frame that Jesus says the Abomination of Desolation of the Holy Temple with him standing within it, rises (Anti-Christ) that starts the Great Tribulation that here in states that he is allowed to continue for 3.5 years or 42 months.

If you take Daniel's 70 weeks literally it's 1.36 years 1 year and 4+(a couple of days) months. But if we apply one rule to 70 weeks and make them years then do we do the same with 42 months? I don't know that...if weeks are years then months would be 4 years for each month and that would be 168 years...So 1 year and 4+ months and then 168 years...doesn't seem to correlate much with Biblical numbers...So I guess we'll stick with 42 months being literally 3.5 years. And 70 weeks of Daniel being 7 years...Seems to fit better.

So 3.5 years of the Anti-Christ's rule then 3.5 years of the Wrath of God...

Rev. 13:4-5

[4] And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
[5] And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Rev. 14

Speaks of the coming of the Son of man and the Great Harvest of the dead, the living.

Rev 15

Speaks of the Wrath of God with the seven angels with the seven last plagues which are the trumpets/vials. Revelations speaks of Vials. The timing may be one and the same vials and trumpets blown for each vial given...Just a guess.

So I guess to sum it all up we will be gathered with the Son of man before the 1st trumpet blows and not be caught in the Wrath of God, but we will see and are currently in the Time of Sorrows, then we will see the vials which Jack Barr says has already been the 1st vial which is happening the killing of and afflicting of the Christians (Saints). Next is everyone standing up for the Christians being killed and then comes the Great Revival...Very interesting times we live in and we will endure til the end

Please feel free to add your comments and suggestions this is definitely a work in progress as I read through the Bible fully front to back...and then start over again.
God Bless & Keep You,
