I'd like to know more about our enemy - how they are organized, how they work, how they fight, what they use, what they fear. I'd like to know how to fight them, and how to beat them, for the Glory of God.

I have assurance from the Holy SPirit and my conscience is clear for me to begin this thread.

In the Book of Enoch, Ethiopian version, CH 69, it talks of the twenty-one fallen angels, Samjaza, Artaqifa, Armen, Kokabel, Turael, Rumjal, Danjal, Neqael, Baraqel, Azazel, Armaros, Batarjal, Busasejal, Hananel, Turel, Simapesiel, Jetrel, Tumael, Turel, Rumael, and Azazel. I'd say they are the Generals of the Fallen Army, since angels are stars, and the rank of a General is a star. I know not to fight these beings, since even the angels can be detained by them (see Daniel). But we fight the demons, the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim (as we know them as Gilgamesh, Hercules, Odesseus, etc.)

Read Ephesians 6:10-18. We must read scripture, talk to others about it, teach others about it, pray, cover ourselves in the blood of Jesus Christ, and have the Lord rebuke and bind the demons attacking us. These are some of the things we can do to protect ourselves, also you can test the spirit. If you feel something not of God is attacking you, question it's beliefs, does it believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins? Ray has an occurence where he does this #868, read through it. I saw an angel yesterday. I was talking with a deep person in God, and just off his shoulder there was this person. I looked and the face hid itself in the flower of the plant-bush behind my friend. We kept talking, and I kept seeing it. Sometimes I would see him, and sometimes I did not.

Then my pastor and another person drove up and we were talking, the four of us, and I said 'I saw an angel' all excited, and she said 'Where?' and I said there at that bush.

And she said 'How do you know that was an angel?' and actually hadn't a clue. Then she said that who I saw was a demon, and he had been watching me.

Then she said that she was very glad that I saw him, and even more glad that I had spoken up about it, because then she could correct my assumption I had made on faith. She she said I did nothing wrong, because I had never seen such a being before, and as a child of God, I had just spoken what I understood. She said that since I had been praying for growth in the LRD, this was indeed another step from God to me. She also said that the perfect timing of the LORD had happened because she usually does not go that way to exit the parking lot to where we were.

She said the demons are there, and they only have as much power as we allow them to have. I dont mean to belittle what Ray has gone through.

She also said that angels are full-bodied, and that they have no need to morph into shapes. The reason I mistook it for an angel was because he was in the flower and flowers are Godly. But an angel would have no need to hide in a flower. She said demons are nothing but blobs. I knew that they were without bodies because they were the spirits of the Nephilim.

So I was greatly blessed last night. I saw a demon, was given more understanding of all things spiritual, and was told not to worry.

I felt it important to respond to you the things ive learned about spiritual warfare. Note that im just a babe in Christ and havent had such as Ray has had when you read about his experiences , but all the same mine were just as hard for me at the time.

I suppose that i should first bring to mind why our enemy even still roams the earth , or has any power to come against us at all. Is it not because God has allowed it? And if God has allowed it , is it not for our Good?

Satan is allowed to come against us for our growth , that is the first thing you should understand about our enemy , and in that you will see that if you do what God tells you to , then satan though he try to destroy you , will only become a blessing to you.

But here now is the very little that ive learned about spiritual warfare, from my experiences and from reading the scritpures.

Satans power is to decieve! Thats the main goal. To get men to believe anything other than what God said. From the very beginning this was his main goal , and it worked , now if it worked , would he lightly give it up?

So how do we fight satan? By knowing the Truth , that we be not decieved. Or as paul says , gird your loins with Truth.

After you know the Truth , thats when the battle begins for your faith. Because until you know the Truth and confess it , you shall not be free from sin and death. We believe the Truth of Jesus Christ unto rightousness , and by confession comes salvation. The Truth sets us free from satan and from darkness and deception.

So here are the the ways that ive learned that satan attacks, for he is after our Faith. First he tries to get you not to believe , to get you to doubt , so that you will be blinded and not undertstand Truth.

If you believe the Truth therefore , and your faith is in Gods word , than satan will come at you another way , for he will take Gods word , and use it against you. For if your faith is in Gods word , then he will try to lead you astray by teaching and something from Gods word that isnt with true understanding. Leading many astray , as you can see with false prophets , and teachers , of the which God has said He would throw in a lake of fire , those who mis lead the Sheep. Therefore we must all take heed that we twist not Gods Word but seek for True understanding.

Also with the Word of God he will make you ashamed and afraid and guilty before the Lord , even though the Lord has forgiven you , he comes against us with guilt and shame. Such is a greater sin to us , than the sins we commit , is to doubt the Forgiveness of God which He has paid the ultimate Price to give us. So if a man sins , we must confess our sins to the Lord Jesus Christ , and He is Faithfull and Just to forgive our sins.

Now here is another way. For if you believe the Truth , and have been set free , and niether have you doubted Gods forgiveness. Then this is another way that you should stumble , even the things of this world will make one to stumble. If you read the bible everyday , and pray everyday , and yet chase after the things of the world too , that if you fill your mind with the garbage of the world , even though you read the word of God , yet still will the world grow in you. Or as Jesus puts it , Thorns will grow with the seed , or the Word of God that you read.

Thorns are the temptations , cares and worries of the things of this world. The only way i have seen to fight temptaion , is to continue in prayer even before the temptation comes to you , as its written , Pray that you enter not into temptaion. For the Spirit is Willing but the flesh is weak . Once your mind is set on sinning , theres not much your heart will do to stop you. For give a little thought to sin , and the Sin its self will work in you , untill you bring to pass the lust there of. So ask for forgiveness of even the wicked thoughts that do enter your mind , that it grow not in you and bring forth works of sin.

Now the firey darts of satan , in which he comes against the faithfull with , even those who have been set free by the Truth of the Gospel. These firey darts , are they not emotioins? feelings? To suffer such will take patience , Faith , and a mouth to strenthen your Faith by speaking the Word of God to yourself. In otther words , The Shield of Faith and the Sword of the Spirit.


The shield of Faith , is it not believeing the Word of God regaurdless of what you feel? Fear is one of the main ways satan comes against us all , for Fear is not of God , neither did God give us His Spirit that we should be afraid , but that we should have Peace with Love and a perfect mind.

Ive been in the depths of fear and sorrow and depression. It is most painfull and nothing to wish for , but necessary for growth is to learn how to overcome this. The Word of God is the Key. While a man is in the depths of fear sorrow and depression it is a most difficult thing to believe the Word of God and to speak it in faith.

For while in sorrow fear and depression , the only thing you want to do is feel sorry for yourself , and speak about how shamefull you are , how much of a failer you are ,or how bad you have it , so that you can feed the sorrow and depression with self pitty. It is next to impossible to speak something you dont yet want to speak , and to believe something contrary to what you feel and see. BUT IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE!

You dont have to feel like you are saved , you dont have to feel like God has forgiven you , you dont have to feel like God is going to take care of you, In order for such to be true. What must you do then? You must Know the Truth , and believe it and confess it !! Is it not the Only Way to salvation? Is it not the Sword of the Spirit?

And in that we must always be meek , we must always examine ourselfs , lest we decieve ourselfs ! For only in Reading the Words of God are we able to see our sins , that we might Turn from them and be saved. In order to keep ourselfs from continueing to sin , we must not only read our bible and pray , but also we must not give room for the things of this World , that will choke the word of God in us , and push us from the Presence of God , that we might fullfill the Lust of the Flesh.

the Lord says , " fear satan for the tricks he plays ". Im just beginning to learn the basics of his attacks and tricks , may the Lord increas both yours and my wisdom and understanding , that we might see satans tricks and not fall into them. Sin does blind the eyes , and makes dark the path of a man. So that he cannot see where hes going. If satan cant get you to believe a lie , than to get you to sin is the goal ,for sin will darken your eyes. But the Word of God is Light , in that it reveals to man the Truth of Gods ways , and the Truth of mans sins. So that we might turn from our ways and obey the Liveing God unto our salvation. Without the Holy Spirit , it is impossible to understand Truth and to walk in Gods ways.

Praise to God for Jesus Christ , who sets us free from the power of satan , and gives to us Light of Life. Glory be to God forever and ever , so be it.

Im sure i didnt teach you anything new , but for the sake of those who havent known did i write. That they might learn the basics. May God have Mercy upon us and our families.

If i left something out , do please post it . That i too might grow in understanding , for such an issue is important to know.

I knew nothing of this! Thank you SO MUCH for explaining and sharing the basics of the devil's attacks on us. I am new to fighting against Satan, and am only just now learning how to fight back with the Word of God.

Indeed, I have much trouble with the world and thorns growing in my garden. I confess this sin right now. I dont need condemnation or accusation. I admit it before God daily, that I am not a faithful servant, but it is a struggle for me to stay in the Word of God. The devil is very clever and I have fallen again and again for his tricks, but man, I am not falling for the ones God pulled me through! I no longer drink, and that is a victory for Christ in itself! But, there are others.

The biggest attack right now is a thought attack, that the Bible is boring, and the world is fun and exciting. I REALLY have to push myself to read the Bible daily, but it is a step up from when I didnt read much of it at all.

I have only recently learned that to fight off doubt or depression, one only need to pray in tongues. That or sing worship to the LORD.

God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.

I have printed out your reply, st_joel, and posted it in my room. You are a blessing.

The LORD hates sin, and I look forward to the day when I will sin no more.

i've been reading the bible almost everyday for the last few years,sometimes when i'm tired or something is going on i might only read a few paragraphs,but one thing is for sure once you commit yourself to reading everyday then skip a day for whatever reason i've noticed that i get attacked by the enemy very strong thru worry,stress ,anger ,sometimes even wrong thoughts ,the devil works on us thru our emotions,it's the devil telling us were to tired or busy to read the bible ,so iv'e learned it's best for our own sake to read everyday whether it's a little or alot,and i stress on my family and friends to read everyday some listen some don't ,that's what is so great about god he gives us our own freedom to choose what to do,let the holy spirit take control of your life and you'll do fine,even thou we all run into hard times,but that's were faith comes in

I would also like to point out that when dealing with spiritual warfare--
especially in a one-to-one situation with a demon or the enemy--that you
always speak only scripture to them. Even in the desert, when Christ
was tempted for 40 days--He answered the devil's "suggestions" with scripture. We are not to talk directly to them--unless for some reason you are directed by the Lord--because we cannot fight them nor defeat them in our own strength--only by the "sword of god". God's sword is His word. We can bind and rebuke them in Christ's name--but we only ANSWER them with scripture as Christ did. I felt a leading from the Lord to point this out tonight........so here it is. The enemy roams about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He is successful at deceit. He can even come to you pretending to be the Lord--but the Holy Spirit will always guide you. This is why we ALWAYS TEST EVERY SPIRIT or prophecy to see how it lines up with scripture. The enemy knows his time is short and is trying very hard to defeat the elect. May the enemy be bound in Jesus name. God bless to everyone and keep up the good fight ! And please be encouraged--if you are being attacked, you know that you are on the right track because the enemy only goes after the one with the ball!! (like football...........).

Thats good that you point out that satan does try and imatate Gods Voice. Ive just been learning this. Because for the longest time i wouldnt even listen to the voices in my head. But just recently ive been trying to focus and listen to God. And have been hearing Him. But also ive been hearing alot of the devil as well , and he does supose to be the voice of God.

Ask the voice if Jesus Christ came in the Flesh , and if He died for the Sins of the World. That will give you a good clue as to who is talking to you.


Anyhow i posted a reply mainly to add to this what i have known. A while back i had a dream. In the dream i was in some building , and i heard a voice. I soon understood that it was the voice of my enemy , and that i was in his camp. I became afraid , and sneaking , i tryied to listen to the plan of the enemy.

The enemy spoke of a plan that pleased him , a clever plan to get men to dis obey God , and to do contrary to His Will. His plan was flood the world with lust. To get men and women to lust for sex , to put sex everywhere so that men and women would chase after it .

Sence then i noticed so much that sex is EVERYWHERE!!! you cant go anywhere without seeing it! Gilrs in there underwere when you go to the stores , you see big pictures of them modleing underwhere and bras , you see it on tv all the day long , from commersials to tv shows. Music videos , and well everywhere else . You cant go anywhere without seeing it.

You know, I have generally tried not to join such discussions and figured the Lord would take care of it. After all, He took care both of Hunter and of Brentlovesmary. But I feel that what you are doing here, it is just over the top. It is as if some spirit moved you to test the Lord. This is something that all of us on this forum should unite to stop once and for all.

BlueRiverTributaries, where are you taking this forum to? We are gathered here to discuss the Word of God and how to proclaim to the world, in obedience to the same Word. And what are you doing here right now? You are calling out names of demons. And these have nothing to do with the Word of God either, it comes from texts that are not scripture. For all we know, these same demons wrote them to bring people into confusion, to get them interested in matters they have absolutely no business looking into.

You claim to have been a fruitful servant of the Lord, of doing some good preaching. Well I trust that you have indeed born fruit. But how fruitful is this discussion you are starting here? Look back to what the Lord said about bearing fruit, about people in chat rooms fruitlessly talking about God. Well, at least they are talking about GOD, about Jesus Christ! Who are you trying to talk about now? What spirit was it that told you to go do this on this forum?

Now recall what Paul wrote to that church where they spoke in tongues presumptuously. If the nonbelievers come, will they not say to the Christians, you are all madmen? If the Lord leads the nonbelievers to this forum, what are they going to say of us, of the people hanging out on the forum presumably dedicated to the Lord's Prophecy? That we are interested in the "dark side"? That we see angels all over the place and scream it in the faces of people around us? Again, consider, blessed are you to see such things if it comes from the Lord, but what fruit are you bearing to the Lord by calling it out? All of us Christians know that angels are there, but seeing them is not needed to be a fruitful servant. And talking about seeing them can be downright counterproductive, as you have no doubt realized by now.

So therefore I pray to the Lord, and I invite everybody here to join me in this prayer, that this forum would declare to the world His Glory and that it would serve as a tool of edification and guidance for all people of good will, and particularly for us, His humble servants. And that the Name of the Lord and the Body of Christ be not marred by or spoken ill about on account of somebody's misplaced curiosity and inappropriate pronouncements.

If I have sinned against the Almighty God, then God has blessed me with another man who will stand up to me and rebuke me. I welcome what you have written, Watcher.

So let this be put to prayer, and if any of the elders or prophets or apostles recieve Word from YHWH that I have acted irresponsibly, then delete this thread, and Father forgive me and teach us all a valuable lesson.
