All Praise Honor and Glory to our Most High God now and forever

my brothers and sisters i felt it in my heart to share this , and also i thought it was good to ask the following questions not only for my growth , but also for others whom the Lord is going to use as He Promised.

I awoke from a dream last night. Among other things that i seen in this dream , the dream came to a point and towards the end of the dream , this is what happened.

I was riding a bike down the street. I saw ahead of me a mand who was bear bottomed , he had no pants on. He was riding a scooter i think. As i aproched him and got closer i heard him talking to himself. He was encourageing himself in how that the streets were going to take care of him , and how the streets were going to give him everything he wants and needs.

I spoke up to him , and led by the Holy Ghost i spoke wisdom to him , telling him the streets are going to take everything from him , and how they will give him nothing and so on. I would speak wisdom to him , and he would come back talking with beliefs that were foolishness , thinking the streets were goign to take care of him. After talking to him for a while , the conversation went back and forth , and i seen the wickedness in his words so i spoke up.

"In the name of Jesus Christ come out of him". He held his head in his hands wagging it back and forth , he said , " what? im not comeing out "

Shocked i commanded again , in the Name of Jesus Christ satan i command you to come out of him , he said , " no , im not comeing out "

he started to run and i was chasing him , saying come out in the name of Jesus Christ , but he kept saying , " no , i will not come out " Finally i caught up with him , i layed my hands on him and commanded again. " In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazereth i command you satan to come out of him"

Then i saw the spirit leave him. Then i was pondering why i saw the man naked. A thought came to my head , and i dont know if it was me who spoke it or God , but the voice said , " you clothed me when i was naked " , i asked the voice if Jesus Christ came in the flesh , but im not sure if it was me who said yes or God. It was just as if i were not sleeping , when i hear what i usualy think is God talking to me , but when i test the spirits , im not sure if its me who is saying yes or not.

So here is my two part question for those out there with more experience in talking with God , and in casting out devils.

My first question is for all or any who have cast out devils in the Name of the Lord , if you would just share your experiences it would be a blessing , not only to me but to those who read it.

My second question is this. I know how that God speaks in many ways , and i was thinking this. That one of the ways God speaks to us is through knowlege understanding and wisdom. Rememberance.

Like pondering a question , then the sollution just pops in your head , the answer , and you can either in your mind talk out the solution , or just understand it.

Let me explain this in another way. Who here has not lost something by laying it down somewhere and forgetting where they put it? And your looking everywhere , but you just cant remember what you did with it. And then it hits you , all of the sudden you remember and it comes to mind. Now you can remember where you put it , and go and get it , or you can talk it out to yourself , that you left it in such and such a place when you were doing such and such. But who does that?

I think thats where i have much problems , because im thinking that God talks to me in this way of causeing me to remember or to understand without speaking word for word what Hes trying to tell me. And so with my new found understanding , i put it to words as if im God speaking to me. and thats where i get into trouble becauce i notice its me speaking and i get so confused.

So my second question is does anyone have any experience or wisdom in this , in how that God speaks to us. For we all know how God does speak to many , but as He says , we dont listen to Him , so He sends prophets and messengers to speak to us , in which He says if we would just listen to Him , He wouldnt have to.

Ive learned that the Holy Spirit also talks to us without saying a word. With feelings , with instincs , with intuition. Im thinking thats why im haveing so much trouble trusting the voices in my head , because im trying to talk out the wisdom and understanding , when i should just flow with it. Does anyone know what im talking about?

So these two questions are good , and the answers im sure are going to help many , in both understanding how God talks to us , how to listen , and also casting out devils and what to do when they refuse to come out.

sometimes when he speaks to me when i'm testing the spirit god speaks the words ,yes mark at other times it's instant knowledge on what to do ,i believe the instant knowledge is the holy spirit,as far as demons we had a little girl who we were taking care of whose parents were heroin addicts when we got her she was 3 years old she would always grab the bible as if she was reading it which she couldn't read everytime i went to see what page she was on she would shut it ,one day i stuck my hand in there and it was on the page about the man who had a legion of demons in him the girl told us there were 2 people in her head and one was fire ,one day she sat on the bed saying can't you feel it and when we said what she said the fire on the bed ,my daughter stephanie gave her a cross to hold she threw it saying it was burning her hand when i felt her hand it was as hot as fire i started rebuking the demons in her in my head without talking ,she then told me the man in her head told her exactly what i was praying for her ,she would sit at the piano hit the keys and sing die,die,die i tried calling ministers for help and when i told them the story they all said they were not able to help me for they didn't know what to do , one day she ran at stephanie from about 50 feet away screaming i'm going to get you when she got 2 inches from her it was like she hit a glass wall in front of stephanie and hit the floor very hard me and stephanie reached down and touched her wrists very lightly ,she started screaming that we were hurting her we hardly touched her ,she ran to my wife who picked her up she then spit at me and stephanie and it was like a fire hose that spread out about 5 feet wide and 5 feet long,she would draw us pictures of the people in her head and one of them was fire, god told me he wanted her baptized ,but no one would do it for me so i wrote to ray and he told me how to baptize her ,around that time her father wanted to get her back so he went to rehab then took us to court after the 4th court hearing they gave her back to him,he's still an addict and she's 8 years old and hangs out on the streets with 13 year olds,she told us she still has people in her head ,we still try to help her as much as we can ,that was my families first dealing with demons,i'll have stephanie tell some others since it takes me forever to type

The Holy Spirit often talks to me in the way you describe. I know that God has other ways, but I am far less familiar with them in experience.

Now, just because God chooses to speak to me in a certain way, doesn't mean that I fully understand it, but I can share what He's caused me to understand about it.

Sometimes the Holy Spirit will just drop information into my spirit. It's not dropped into my mind, but all of a sudden my mind will notice it, and I will know that it is true.

Like, if someone reaches in and puts an object just out of sight of your vision and then you turn and suddenly see it in it's entirety.

That's what's it's been like sometimes, a revelation of something that was hidden all of a sudden. It is put in my spirit and all of a sudden my mind sees it completely, and I know in my spirit that it is true.

It seems very fast, because my own thoughts are a progression, but this is not a progression. It is an instant full blown conclusion that is just given to me.

Sometimes, though, my thoughts will be lead in a progression, but even then it is different than my regular thinking.

It's as though I am being walked through the construction of a revelation step by step. Instead of suddenly seeing an object, I am watching as the Holy Spirit builds it. I can see the parts and I can see how they fit together, and I can then see the whole. This still doesn't mean that I am fully familiar with the construction, because it is still a conclusion that I did not construct myself, but I have a better understanding of it than if I suddenly noticed the whole thing.

I think that this is still similar to the instant knowledge, in that the pieces are still revealed and constructed in my spirit, and then my mind catches up.

What I have talked about so far has been solely with intuitions and knowings, and different times the experience is stronger than others. Sometimes I know what just happened, and other times I get only get a whiff of something and it is not as definite.

Very rarely have I heard or seen things.

One time I can very distinctly remember hearing "Moab" as an answer to a question I directed to God.

It wasn't audible to my natural ears. I just understood that my spirit heard it, and it did seem very much like it was my thought, but I knew it wasn't my thought because I didn't know what/who Moab was at the time and it would have been impossible for me to make up.

Now, as for visions, I really have very little experience, but I believe that it works in the same way. Your spirit sees something and informs your mind and when it hits your mind you become conscious of it. The information is not coming to your mind through your eyes, it's coming to your mind through your spirit which was given it by the Holy Spirit.

That's why sometimes there is a duality of vision, because your mind can receive sight from your eyes and sight from your spirit at the same time, and they sort of overlap even though they don't necessarily have anything to do with each other.

I think that is the best way that I can describe it, though I acknowledge that I am struggling for words to express the truth of the experience.

I hope you found some help in them, because I can tell by the way you wrote about it that it is the same thing.

I just want to say that you have given THE BEST explanation of how the Holy Spirit speaks to you....I have been trying to explain it to my husband for years but have never put the words together as well as you have. It is understood that others hear in different ways but this is exactly how I would describe it. Thanks!

that is exactly how the few visions i've had happened,but i've also seen demons in people the same way,it was really hard to explain to someone how i would see this ,but what you said was exactly to the point Noah

I too have seen demons in people but I thought that maybe I was just seeing things because it was just a quick flash....one time I even heard a hiss directed at me.

I've had a demon hiss at me also. I had a demon trying to trick me into looking at him one time, while I was trying to go to sleep and being spiritually attacked. It kept saying it was people I knew and the voice sounded just like them!...but I knew it wasn't them because they weren't here. I wouldn't look at it, and just kept rebuking it, and binding it, and praying that I was covered in the blood of Christ, and I began to test it. When I asked if it believed that Jesus Christ was our Lord and Savior and died on the cross for us, it said NOoooooooo in this horribly retchid hiss, that I can't even explain, and then it left. I was wondering the same thing but the way Noah described it is how something happened to me today. So, I was on another forum and I was questioning whether it was right to listen to RandB music. So, I was writing, "Is it wrong for a man and woman to sing about the love they share between each other" and then instantly I got this thought "Do the love that these men and women sing about glorify God in their songs". And I have been asking this question about secular music for a long time and today finally I received the answer. Because it says in the bible to do all things for the Glory of God. So, could someone please pray for me on this issue?

You've already received an answer for your question from the Holy Spirit, and you knew that the answer to the question the Spirit asked you was no.

Now you can be sure that music that sings about the love between a man and a woman that does not glorify God is wrong, because those songs are not singing about the love that God has made to be between a man and a woman, but is singing about a different kind of love and glorifying something other than God.

God himself has told you so, even though you sort of knew it already.

So the question now is, "What are you going to do with this revelation?"

The Holy Spirit wants to do a work in you as a free gift, because God loves you. All you have to do to receive it is accept it and cooperate.

Let me encourage you to do this, because even though this seems like a little thing, what it really is an opportunity to be led of and obedient to the Holy Spirit, which is everything.

First of all, the Holy Spirit does not waste breathe, so if you are being encouraged to stop listening to your R&B music it's because it is harming you in some way and it's in your best interest to stop.

Secondly, when we are faithful in the small things we prove that we will be faithful in the larger things. We are to respond to the small things and the large things in exactly the same way, and that is by being obedient to the Holy Spirit.

This is how we are to live as Christians, receiving from the Holy Spirit every day and cooperating with His work in us, and what the Bible is talking about when it speaks of being led by the Spirit.

So be encouraged, because if you are faithful to do what the Holy Spirit is telling you, it is going to be worth it.

No, but see I don't know if it was my own mind but i think it was the Holy Spirit. And it just seems like maybe I am trying to make excuses for listening to secular music. It is like the enemy is telling me, "It's ok. It won't hurt anything." I have an Ipod full of secular music and even one time I had a dream that seemed so real and it was about secular music. So, when I woke up I had a serious urge to go down in the basement and break all my secular cds up. Then, I was doing good and had no urge to listen to the music but my friends aren't really saved so when we would go places they would play it. I would be very uncomfortable and still don't listen to certain music.

It seems like everything has been adding up to divine revelation cause I ran into a guy that had this tape called "The truth behind hip hop". And the guy was telling how demonic spirits are attatched to much of the secular music today but then I met this Christian listening to Mariah Carey. So, he was telling me that the man was talking about annointed Christians and that God says that you shouldn't mess with His annointed ones and that he was being too discriptive on his web page about homosexual activities and I agreed with him. But now I am thinking that you can't listen to men, but you have to ask God and just pray on the issue.

I don't know what scripture it is but it says, "If you do anything you believe is wrong, you are sinning." I just feel like maybe God is giving me the answer but I am like the seed that was choked by the thorns around it and like the enemy is causing me to doubt these revelations." I guess the question is, "Why do I like secular music so much?" The beats are just so captivating and it is hard for me to stop listening. So, I gave my Ipod to my friend for two weeks. I need Raymond to pray to God for me for this answer and I will wait until I receive the answer. I am going to post this as a new thread for him to see. What do you think is wrong in my situation?

I will pray for you and I will post whatever the Lord says. The world is changing so much that when you hear some christian music it sounds so secular, not only in how it sounds, but in the way the players perform and dress. This world is getting crazier and crazier. God bless.

Thank you very much Raymond. I have also prayed about this issue and will continue too. I will pray that God reveals this revelation to me and not listen to any secular music until I have the answer or understand this revelation. At my job, they play the radio full of secular music but I will just try and not get engaged in it. I pray that I am blessed to find another job.

I'm almost 99% sure that I have recieved my answer. Becuase it says in the bible that we are in the world but not of the world. And also the secular music may be compared to a rock singer who speaks of very sinful things but then he makes a song about love. I wouldn't listen to someone who does that so why would I listen to someone who makes sexual songs and then just sings about love. I guess they would be lukewarm and I don't want to ingest things that would hurt me.

It is still a part of me though that feels like I won;t last long. I really want to do good but sometimes throughout the day I just start singing secular music. I guess I won't change over nigt but I'll pray that I no longer have a desire to listen to wordly music.

Let me let you in on a secret thats hidden from the World. In the Presence of God there is desire for nothing! There is Want of Nothing!

Have you ever honestly been in the presence of God e1lewis? All you have to do is spend time with God. Praise Him , Pray to Him , read your bible. Do that more than you do anything else. Ask Jesus to give you a new Heart with New Desires. Ask Him to show you your sins that you may turn from them. And read your bible to see what the Lord is saying to you.

Spending time with God in Prayer you will feel His Peace , His Love , His Wholeness. Now here is a proof to you. When your in the presence of God and He fills you full of His Fire. And your whole body and soul is full of Him , then go and listen to one of your favorite r & b songs. See what it does to you , see if you really like it after all. See if you dont want to just stick with God and stay in His Presence.

Yeah you wont want to watch tv or anything. The Love of God will call your heart so strong when your shopping or doing things you have to do , and you wont be able to wait to get back to your bed all alone and worship God. Your heart will desire Him more than anything. This is a gift from God. And Only through Jesus Christ can we get to know God in this Very Intament way.

Soon enough with all that seeking after God that your doing. Reading of your bible , Praying , and seeking Him with your Whole Heart. Soon enough then He will talk with you Personaly , He will manifest Himself to you Personaly. Then you will be a blessing to all of us and many more when you share the Truth of what you seen of Him.

If you dont desire to read your bible and to pray , then Just ask God to give you the Desire by changeing your Heart. Then DO IT!
