I was just reading in Phillipians and it reminded me of one of the emails that just went out reminding us that we are nothing. I didn't save the email and I can't seem to find it right now.
Phil. 2:5-8
[5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
[6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
[7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
[8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
I think it's a good verse to remember because we must always humble ourselves, and remind ourselves as the prophecy said that we are nothing. God doesn't owe us anything, He sent His Son to die for our sins, and we owe Him everything. The least we can do is to humble ourselves daily and praise Him. I remember posting on here about how I try to think of how Jesus suffered for us when I'm sick or in pain, and now I will always try to remember these verses to remind me of how Jesus being the Son of God, humbled Himself while he was here on Earth.
Yours in Christ, Stephanie
