Pretty and Nice


Perfumes and spice,..... all pretty and nice,
a world in some chose to remain
Yet others aware,... rise up and declare,
what pretty and nice calls insane

The summer of 'love',... the 60's cried out,
'safety and peace are ours'
'For war is not pretty,... death is not nice,
we prefer gardens of flowers'

And so it was done,... the church had begun
to follow now in the same lies
The mantra the same,... 'we want to remain,
in a world of pretty and nice'
