TOPIC: Ray... about spiritual war fare

Ray... about spiritual war fare 7 years, 6 months ago #89

What is spiritual warfare like? Is it when you feel accused about ever little thing that you do and therefore you feel condemned, but you still have that "wholeness" of being a Christian and are confused because of the VERY conflicting sensation? Could it be conviction from God, but accusation and comdemnation from evil coupled together? I am very perplexed by this, but this was all yesterday and I am pretty much over it now. Any verses that you can give off the top of your head on this matter? Do you have any extra understanding of tongues? My prayer language usually remains the same, but changes in rare occassions ...
thanks

Spiritual Warfare is a lot of things...one is what you said, when you have these conflicting things and get all frustrated and worked up, it's these little demons getting at you, but a lot of opeople don't see it that way. What you can do to prevent this is to ask to be covered in the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and to put on the Armour of God. The passage in the bible is Ephesians 6:10, www.biblekingjames.org is the bible on the net from Ray. Another type of warfare could be when you're actually physically being attacked in the spirit as in a dream or while awake. If you search through Ray's occurences this happens many times. Also another warfare is happening 24/7 between Angels and Demons, that we're not aware of. Here's what occurs when your prayer language changes into tongues...the devil and his demons can't understand it! It's a language that only God knows, and every so often you will understand what the tongues you spoke are about, but often you won't. It's his way of helping you in your prayers, so that you can't be attacked about the subject.

Is there scripture to show that the dragon doesnt understand tongues. I dont recall reading that in the Bible, but then again i could be mistaken.

it's what the spirit of the lord let me know, also what you read in the bible can mean alot of different things ,that's why when the holy spirit is in you it interperet's what you read, before i changed for the lord ,i didn't understand much of what i read, now it's like i'm there when i read ,you must read faithfully everyday to keep up your defense's ,if i go 1 day without reading now i can feel the demons trying to get at me,so i pray that god will let you grow in his grace so you will understand more
god bless you
yours in christ mark

1 Cor. 14
[28] But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

If you read through that chapter in 1 Corinthians it says that tongues are something you have to be careful about they could be false, or if you are in two or three and one can interpret then they are true. but it also says that if you don't undestand it then you are speaking with God. I believe that this means only God can understand...not the devil or man or angels. But this is only my interpretation.

I found a site where someone gives their interpretations of it. It's an interesting read http://www.letusreason.org/Pent3.htm
