A Place Called “There”
By Andrew Wommack The Bible says, “Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are” (James 5:17). Yet he was mightily used of God. This reference is talking about the time Elijah became so despondent that he asked God to kill him (1 Kin. 19:4). Elijah wasn’t perfect; yet he called fire down from heaven three times; he was the first person to raise someone from the dead; he caused the greatest revival in history up to that point; his word started and ended a three-year drought; he multiplied food miraculously; and he is one of only two men who never died—he was caught up alive into heaven. There is a lot we can learn from a man like this, both positive and negative. The Bible gives little background on Elijah. It wasn’t his pedigree or education that brought him into a position of influence and power. Elijah was nobody until he received a word from God. It was the revelation God gave him that put him into a position of leadership. Likewise, anyone who is born again, or baptized in the Holy Spirit, or has a good relationship with the Lord, has a revelation from God too. Just as Elijah’s revelation from God put him into a position of influence, anyone who has a revelation of God has the potential to influence others also. The only difference is that Elijah knew what he had and was bold enough to speak. Many of us have been intimidated by the ungodly. We aren’t boldly speaking the truth we have from the Lord. What if Elijah hadn’t spoken that prophecy to King Ahab? The drought may have occurred anyway, but Elijah wouldn’t have been able to use it to affect the nation. The people would have dismissed the drought as a natural occurrence. Elijah was bold enough to speak before there was any proof that what he was saying would come to pass. That took faith and great courage. When the drought came as promised, Elijah became the most sought after man in the nation: “As the LORD thy God liveth, there is no nation or kingdom, whither my lord hath not sent to seek thee: and when they said, He is not there; he took an oath of the kingdom and nation, that they found thee not” (1 Kin. 18:10). If we would speak forth the truths God has shown us, just like Elijah, the truths we speak would ultimately prevail. Elijah didn’t have all the answers or know what would happen next when he spoke the prophecy to King Ahab (1 Kin. 17:1). Ahab had forbidden worship of the true God, instituting Baal worship. He killed the prophets of the Lord, and Elijah was putting himself in harm’s way by obeying the Lord. It wasn’t until after Elijah delivered the word of the Lord, that God spoke to him about how He would protect and sustain him. First Kings 17:2-4 says, “And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.” One of the great lessons we can learn here is that God doesn’t reveal His complete plan immediately. He reveals His will to us one step at a time. After we obey the first step, He shows us the next. Why should the Lord show us step two or ten if we haven’t obeyed step one? That would just make us more accountable. So, don’t try to figure out the next step until you have acted on what you know to do now. That’s a powerful truth. The Lord told Elijah to go to the Brook Cherith. He had already commanded the ravens to bring Elijah bread and meat “THERE” every morning and evening. This was miraculous! What a provision during a terrible time! But notice this: The Lord didn’t send Elijah’s provision to where he was. A quarterback doesn’t throw the football to where the receiver is, but where the receiver is going. Elijah’s miracle wasn’t where he was but where the Lord was sending him. That’s awesome! Each of us has a place called “THERE,” where the blessings of the Lord are waiting. The Lord never fails to provide, but people often fail to receive because they aren’t all “THERE.” If Elijah had not gone to his place called “THERE,” his disobedience would not have stopped God’s faithfulness; however, he would not have received the provision; it was over “THERE,” by the Brook Cherith. This is exactly what is happening to many of us. The Lord has placed something on our hearts to say or do. But, if we haven’t obeyed, we aren’t in our place of “THERE.” We aren’t seeing God’s provision, because we aren’t in that place of obedience. I’ve heard many people say the Lord told them to attend Charis Bible College. But they just can’t see how it could happen. They want to see the Lord’s provision before they go “THERE.” That’s not how it works. Some of you are not seeing God’s provision because you aren’t doing what He has told you to do. This doesn’t mean the Lord is punishing you. If Elijah hadn’t gone “THERE,” he would have lost his provision. The Lord has provision for you too, but it’s “THERE.” This place called “THERE” changes. God changed the place and method of Elijah’s provision: “And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee” (1 Kin. 17:8-9). You can’t just seek the Lord once, hear His voice, step out in faith, and then stop listening. The Lord brings us into His perfect will step by step. Elijah moved when the Lord told him to move. This led Elijah to the city of Zarephath where he asked a widow to give him the last of her food. It looked like he was taking from this woman, but he was actually giving to her. Instead of this being her last meal before dying, the Lord multiplied this woman’s supplies, which kept her, her son, and Elijah alive for about three years (1 Kin. 17:15-16). What a great miracle! That wasn’t all the widow received. Her faithfulness in giving caused her son to be raised from the dead (1 Kin. 17:17-23). She had been operating in faith every day. She would use the last bit of oil and meal for Elijah and then find that there was always enough to make a cake for herself and her son. This was a great faith builder, which I’m sure figured into the miracle of her son. Elijah went on to call fire down from heaven and consume a sacrifice in the sight of all of the people of Israel (1 Kin. 18:36-38). The people who saw it cried out, “The Lord, He is the God. The Lord, He is the God.” They killed all the prophets of Baal, and the whole nation turned to the Lord. That same day, Elijah prayed and ended the drought by a great rain storm (1 Kin. 18:41-45). He was so pumped, he outran Ahab’s chariot in a twenty-mile race after Ahab had a head start. Elijah was excited! Here is a very important lesson: After great victories come great temptations. This is primarily because we lose our sense of humility and dependence upon God (1 Kin. 19:4). Elijah had successfully defied the king, his armies, his prophets, and all the people in the nation. But the next day, a note from a woman caused him to run in terror (1 Kin. 19:2-3). The Lord appeared to Elijah and asked, “What are you doing HERE, Elijah?” (1 Kin. 19:9). Elijah wasn’t “THERE” anymore. His place called “THERE” was back in Samaria. People were now worshiping the true God, but Elijah had run away in fear, leaving the people without a leader. This resulted in the Lord replacing Elijah with Elisha. Elijah’s ministry fell short of what it could have been. The Lord actually spoke to Elijah in an audible voice. He told him to do three things, one of which was to anoint Elisha to replace him (1 Kin. 19:15-16). Elijah anointed Elisha (1 Kin. 19:19), but didn’t do the other two things. That means Elijah failed in two-thirds of the things the Lord told him to do. That’s amazing. You might think this meant Elijah was washed up and was never used of God again. That’s not the case. Elijah went on to prophesy (1 Kin. 21:17-24), and he called the fire of God down two more times (2 Kin. 1:9-12). And most impressive of all, Elijah never died; he was caught up into heaven by a whirlwind (2 Kin. 2:11). This man, who failed miserably, still walked so closely with God that he never died. This speaks volumes to us. The Lord has never had anyone working for Him yet who was qualified. He uses us in spite of what we do, and not because of what we do. If we will hold on to our faith, we can still experience wonderful things from the Lord even after failing BIG TIME. What powerful truths. |

1 Kings 19 15 Then the LORD said to him: “Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria. 16 Also you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. 17 It shall be that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill. 18 Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.” 19 So he departed from there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he was with the twelfth. Then Elijah passed by him and threw his mantle on him. 20 And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah, and said, “Please let me kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.” And he said to him, “Go back again, for what have I done to you?” 21 So Elisha turned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen and slaughtered them and boiled their flesh, using the oxen’s equipment, and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah, and became his servant. 2 Kings 9 1 And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, “Get yourself ready, take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead. 2 Now when you arrive at that place, look there for Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, and go in and make him rise up from among his associates, and take him to an inner room. 3 Then take the flask of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, ‘Thus says the LORD: “I have anointed you king over Israel.”’ Then open the door and flee, and do not delay.” 4 So the young man, the servant of the prophet, went to Ramoth Gilead. 5 And when he arrived, there were the captains of the army sitting; and he said, “I have a message for you, Commander.” Jehu said, “For which one of us?” And he said, “For you, Commander.” 6 Then he arose and went into the house. And he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, “Thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, over Israel. 7 You shall strike down the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel. 8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish; and I will cut off from Ahab all the males in Israel, both bond and free. 9 So I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah. 10 The dogs shall eat Jezebel on the plot of ground at Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her.’” And he opened the door and fled. 11 Then Jehu came out to the servants of his master, and one said to him, “Is all well? Why did this madman come to you?” And he said to them, “You know the man and his babble.” 12 And they said, “A lie! Tell us now.” So he said, “Thus and thus he spoke to me, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD: “I have anointed you king over Israel.”’” 13 Then each man hastened to take his garment and put it under him on the top of the steps; and they blew trumpets, saying, “Jehu is king!” 2 Kings 8 7 Then Elisha went to Damascus, and Ben-Hadad king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, “The man of God has come here.” 8 And the king said to Hazael, “Take a present in your hand, and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the LORD by him, saying, ‘Shall I recover from this disease?’” 9 So Hazael went to meet him and took a present with him, of every good thing of Damascus, forty camel-loads; and he came and stood before him, and said, “Your son Ben-Hadad king of Syria has sent me to you, saying, ‘Shall I recover from this disease?’” 10 And Elisha said to him, “Go, say to him, ‘You shall certainly recover.’ However the LORD has shown me that he will really die.” 11 Then he set his countenance in a stare until he was ashamed; and the man of God wept. 12 And Hazael said, “Why is my lord weeping?” He answered, “Because I know the evil that you will do to the children of Israel: Their strongholds you will set on fire, and their young men you will kill with the sword; and you will dash their children, and rip open their women with child.” 13 So Hazael said, “But what is your servant—a dog, that he should do this gross thing?” And Elisha answered, “The LORD has shown me that you will become king over Syria.” 14 Then he departed from Elisha, and came to his master, who said to him, “What did Elisha say to you?” And he answered, “He told me you would surely recover.” 15 But it happened on the next day that he took a thick cloth and dipped it in water, and spread it over his face so that he died; and Hazael reigned in his place. ~~ |

Obedience Fulfilled by the Lord Jesus 3 years, 8 months ago #3881

Dearest a_sailor,
Know that by one man's obedience that we are all made righteous, the Man Jesus Christ. ROM 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Know too that God's love is even more greater to us when we began to believe in Jesus. Romans 5:8-9 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him Now we do not do the works of the law anymore, but we are to live by the law of faith. We will always fail in our effort to obey God fully- that is why we are not to trust in our obedience, rather we are to trust in Jesus whose obedience is complete and perfect. Romans 3:27-28 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Romans 9:31-32 31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. 32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; GAL 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 3:1-5 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. 5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? See to it as in verse 5 above, that we are to minister to one another by the hearing of faith and not by the works of the law. Only Christ can fulfill (and have fulfilled) the complete obedience to the Law. We can only be put right before God when we have faith in the Lord Jesus. And our faith too must be evidenced by works of faith, and not by works of the Law. God bless |

So then, are we to follow the vain imaginations of men who say that Elijah was 1 for 3 (33.333% obedient) or the scriptures that show us that Elijah was 3 for 3 (100% obedient)? The vain imaginations of men say that: Elijah had run away in fear, leaving the people without a leader. We are told in the scripture that The Lord had SEVEN THOUSAND who had not bent the knee to Baal. The Lord Himself was their leader as it was also for the faithful (100% obedient) Elijah. The scriptures did not say that The Lord had asked Elijah to stay and become a Leader to His Faithful People and the scriptures (the Word of The Lord) never revealed that this was what Elijah, or Elisha, was asked to do. Elijah's job was to do and speak Only What He Saw and Heard The Father Doing and Speaking! Sound Familiar? Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. John 5:30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. John 14:10 b The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. John 17:20-23 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. This is the desire of the Lord "That they may be one just as WE are One: I in them, and YOU in ME"! Enabled by our union (communion) with Our Lord to be 100% obedient by His Power not 33.333% obedient in Our Own Power! 2 Timothy 2:14-16 Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. ~~~ |

Prophecy 368 - 3 years, 8 months ago #3883
|
~~
368. Prophecy given to Raymond Aguilera on 29 September 1993 at 8:23 AM. in Spanish. It is there. It is there in the fever of the world. It is there. I, the God of the world, of the stars, of all that there is. I, the Father with the Son, and the Holy Spirit; We are going to cure all that is sick. You have to turn yourself until you are in the direction of your Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and in that way you are going to find Heaven. Where I made your house, and My Arms are going to be there waiting for you, My little sons and daughters. But you have to run and hide yourself, of all that is evil, of all that is of the devil. For the devil wants to munch on you. He wants to eat your spirit with the fever of the Pit. I will protect you, but you have to look for Me. You have to pray. You have to pray and you have to pray. You have to read the Bible with all of your heart, with all of your mind, with all that you have, and I will protect you, with My Angels, with My Hands. Here comes the day that the world is going to be frightened, and the world is going to get mad with all the Christians and they are going to want to kill all that is good, all that is of your God, all that is of Heaven, of My Son, of the Holy Spirit. For the devil now knows that his time has come, the time of the Pit, but I don't want my Sheep to suffer. I want them to point everything toward your Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit with the Fever of Heaven. I know that if you Love Me, you will do what I tell you with the Mind of Heaven, with the Heart of Heaven, with all that you have. For the war has arrived of the world, the big war that's going to point everything toward the Pit. What a shame if My Word is there in front of you and you don't pick it up and read it. What a shame! There's the Bible, there's My Prophecies. There are all the Words I have sent to the world and they are not heard. They are not read. And they look for the manner of the devil, the manner of the world. What a Shame. For it is there. Start with the Bible and read it. Learn the Word of your God. Teach yourself everything that is good, and the Word of your God will show you, what is good, and what is bad. The Holy Spirit is going to help you. There are My Prophecies that I send to all the churches. For My Word is everywhere, for I am everywhere, but you have to give it a chance. You have to open your eyes. You have to open your ears. Then you have to teach your sons, and your daughters, and your mother, and your father. Then start with everyone who is living to one side of you, and then the other side, and also the ones who live in the streets that don't know a thing, the ones who are hungry, the ones that are living in the street without clothes, food, the sick ones, and the old ones. And then start with My Word and tell the world, and everyone that wants to hear, all, who have the hunger of God. For My little ones this is serious. This is for your life, I will save you. You just have to look for Me with the Fever of Heaven, you have to pray everyday, but I don't want one minute prayers or two minute prayers. I want you to pray, and pray, and pray, until you get tired, and in that way you will show Me that you Love your Father. That's the way it is. Yes, My Sons, all of the world is going to get mixed up, and is going to run after the devil with the fever of the Pit. I want you all to gather in houses, and pray with the Fever of Heavens, but like I told you. I am going to watch you. I am going to see if you Love Me with your heart for I read the heart, not what you say with your mouth. For I know what is in your heart, but I, and My Son, and the Holy Spirit are going to gather all the Sheep. We are going to gather the Ones that Love Me with all of their heart, and We are going to take them to Heaven. The rest are going to stay until they are Clean. Did you hear Me? For I only want what is Clean for all that is from Heaven is Clean. "The Heart," read your heart it is very important, "The Heart," the lips are nothing, but the heart, "The heart of your spirit," in that way you can save yourself. But look at your heart with the Eyes of Heaven and don't lie to yourself for I read everything. Read your heart, and then; when you find where you are look for Me with your heart, with your prayers, with your spirit, with all that is clean, and I will save you. DID YOU HEAR ME WORLD? This is your Father, with the Son, with the Holy Spirit, with all that is of Heaven, with all that is, with all that is going to be, and all that has been. For I am everything, now, tomorrow and yesterday. I am everything from one point to the other. Look for Me with your heart, it is very important, "The Heart." Remember "The Heart, The Heart, The Heart, The Heart, The Heart, The Heart." I will see you, My Love Ones, My Sheep. This is your Father, with the Son, and the Holy Spirit. There, I will call you, on another day, on another hour with My Prophet, Reymundo. But My Tears are for the Sheep that don't' hear Me, that don't see Me, that don't look for Me. For if you don't look for Me, you won't find Me. I will see you. ~~~ |

In Due Season -- Bob Neumann 3 years, 8 months ago #3889

"Without obedience there is nothing but "lip service" which a MOST HOLY GOD really hates....check HIS WORD" In Due Season April 14, 2000: To those with ears to hear..... for the last 5-6 months we have been in "draught" conditions in South Florida and throughout much of the north American continent many have suffered from the lack of rain. What is interesting is the fact that those not facing problems of "lack" have been dealing with floods/flooding. Spiritually I have watched the "draught" and "famine" for many months. Most people who "trust" in man never noticed the "lack". They turned on their faucets and water was there. No need for the "average citizen" to check the 'reservoir or measure the "well". Water is cheap and plentiful......only it is neither. this last two weeks I have kept hearing the phrase "IN DUE SEASON'' in my spirit. And each time I hear THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT speak my spirit grabs whatever THE WIND blows. over the years i have "stored up" for the time of famine that now covers this land, but was not really aware of the fact. for you see....man lives, according to KING JESUS... 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. The first witness was Matthew...the second Luke....for those who need more.... Deuteronomy 8:1-4 1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers. 2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. 3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. 4 Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years. (KJV) The question is whether obedience to HIS COMMANDMENTS is ever noticed when we "talk" about "THE WORD" or "THE BREAD''? Amos said clearly "the famine" in the land would be of "hearing" THE VOICE OF GOD. Theoretically if you do not "hear" HIS VOICE than you have NO WORD(S) to "feed" on. In the realm of THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT this is taking the generality of famine and taking it to the personal level of "spiritual malnutrition". When the natural body is "starved" it's "resistance" is down. Susceptibility to "opportunistic" infection and disease increases exponentially. We see it all over the ''church'', but no one can ''diagnose'' it because it is politically incorrect to say anything about "THE CHURCH" that is not comforting, edifying, or just plain "cute" to the ears of the spiritually "deaf".Paul in Romans brings up this issue....if anyone would notice....by discussing "hearing" as well as "preaching/speaking" and the twin issues of believing and faith... 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. Faith comes from "hearing" THE WORD OF GOD....but who is hearing GOD during the famine? Funny that Paul in Romans is quoting from Isaias 53 and 54....why....BECAUSE NOT ALL OBEYED THE GOSPEL....so "hearing" requires "obedience'' to become faith Without obedience there is nothing but "lip service" which a MOST HOLY GOD really hates....check HIS WORD.. Funny thing "FAITH"....HIS WORD places it with "obedience" and "condemning the world".... IT IS WRITTEN... Hebrews 11:1-10 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. (KJV) Above are 10 well quoted verses....and a lot of WORD....STRONG MEAT FOR THE HUNGRY....faith and obedience are the requirements to "please GOD''....very simple....not at all complicated. But to begin you need to HEAR HIS WORD TO YOU....no way around it. The question that begs to be asked of "the church'' is whether you really believe that sitting in your "pews"/"seats" you have found "THE CITY WHICH HATH FOUNDATIONS, WHOSE BUILDER AND MAKER IS GOD"? Have you "earned" HIS REWARD HE PROMISED to those who "diligently" seek HIM? Then you must see yourself as 'a good and faithful servant' and feel relaxed about everything? Funny how "IN DUE SEASON'' pops up in the strangest places.... LIKE MATTHEW 24... 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Funny how those "WORDS" jump out at me and sear my spiritman each time I read it. To give them "meat in due season" is the job of the "wise and good" type of servants. Likewise being "smited" is the reality when encountering "evil servants" who sit with drunkards. David wrote about sitting...anyone remember? 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Ugly word "scorn", it appears 3 times in the New Testament.... Luke 8:49-56 49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.† 50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. 51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. 52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. 53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. 54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. 55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. 56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done. (KJV) Mark 5:40 40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. (KJV) Matthew 9:24 24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. (KJV) All three gospel accounts of the raising of the girl from the dead point out that JESUS was "LAUGHED'' at to "scorn" HIM. He was mocked as a liar and a fool. Everyone knew the little girl was dead. Everyone knew nothing could be done. UNTIL HE SPOKE AND SHE HEARD AND OBEYED....even when dead.......... Even "dead" we can hear HIS VOICE and "obey" THE WORDS HE SPEAKS. THE WORDS OF LIFE.... How could anyone "mock" the KING OF GLORY?....easy, they never "heard" HIS WORDS. Jude warned us and gave sound advice... 17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. So what spirit might they have? Paul tells us... 1 Timothy 4:1-4 1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: (KJV) Months ago I was "rebuked" by THE LORD because I had offended "many". I was "chastened" because I had to "learn" some hard truths. It is not good to hold offense. It produces no fruit worthy of a HOLY GOD. When JESUS told Simon Peter to "FEED MY LAMBS....FEED MY SHEEP'' it was to care and protect the weakest. That is the job of those called to serve. But those who "serve" must be fed...or they will start eating the sheep. That is why "good and wise servants" give meat to their fellow servants. The problem is few are servants.... few were meant to be. Because few "hear" clearly... 11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. "Strong meat" is not for lambs....certainly not for infants and children. Yet "in due season" meat portions are to be given to those who hunger for more than "the milk of the WORD". Everything comes "in due season"...famine and sword....meat and rain. Both situations have been set forth IN THE WORD. Can't have one without the other. 2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. 3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. 4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For every man shall bear his own burden. 6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. selah shemuel http://www.telusplanet.net/public/tsgibson/othpro.html ~~ |

OBEDIENCE - A Word Given Thru DUMITRU DUDUMAN 3 years, 8 months ago #3898

I have the power to protect those who obey me. You must remember the word of God, for if you will not obey, the day of terror will come and you will suffer together with the wicked and defiled. “I reveal to you, I speak to you, I show to you,” says the Lord, “but many do not want to remember, saying to themselves, ‘Is it truly the Lord speaking this?’ Others become scared for the moment, but then they forget and never become pure. Many of those who carry the name of ‘Christian’ are overcome by greed, fornication, drunkenness, and a pursuit of great wealth. There is no time to lose. The day of destruction and terror is coming soon. The devil is agitated, and a great deception is being prepared . But I tell you, do not fear. I have the power to protect those who obey me. You must remember the word of God, for if you will not obey, the day of terror will come and you will suffer together with the wicked and defiled. I will punish all the wickedness of this world, and all the sin of this place. Be awake, and waiting, because if you will not, you will be punished as the wicked, and also lose your salvation for your disobedience. Disobedience is punished more than anything , ” says the Holy Spirit. “Pray for your children, and stop them from doing worldly things. Tell them that the wrath of God is coming, and that they must be prepared for that day. Tell them to read the Bible, and pray, that I may also save them.” http://www.handofhelp.com/index.php ~~ |

"So then,
are we to follow the vain imaginations of men who say that Elijah was 1 for 3 (33.333% obedient) or the scriptures that show us that Elijah was 3 for 3 (100% obedient)?" There is no scripture that says Elijah was 100% obedient. In fact Elisha was the one who completed the other 2 tasks that God asked of Elijah. 1 Kings 19:15-16 15 And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria: 16 And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room. It is clear that Elisha was the one who anoint Jehu, not Elijah. 2 Kings 9:1-2 And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead: 2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber; And even Elisha did not anoint Hazael as king, instead he just told Hazael what the Lord revealed to him. This too is evidence of God's grace upon Elisha too. 2 Kings 8:13 13 And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath showed me that thou shalt be king over Syria. 14 So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me that thou shouldest surely recover. This means clearly that Elijah failed in this task that was given to him. And Elijah was clearly regarded as Israel's spiritual leader, despite of King Ahab. Obadiah, the servant of Ahab, called him lord. 1 King 18:7-8 7 And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, Art thou that my lord Elijah? 8 And he answered him, I am: go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here. We can also see that Elijah acknowledged this, and regarded himself as equal to King Ahab, as he said to Obadiah- go tell thy lord. This reveals God's grace and mercy upon Elijah. ROM 3:10, 23 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Only Jesus is 100% obedient. James 5:17 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. Elijah never did a 100% obedient, because he himself were SUBJECT and YIELDED to the same passions as we all are. This is evidence of the Lord's great grace and mercy upon him, and also upon all will trust and have faith in the Lord. Our obedience could never be complete, therefore we must rely upon Jesus's obedience and place our trust in Him, because He is the FINISHER of our faith. Now what the Lord seeks of us is our faith. LK 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? God bless |

Faithful Obedience -vs- Unfaithful Disobedience 3 years, 8 months ago #3907

From Genesis to Revelation the Word of The Lord (John 1:1) clearly states the reward for faithful obedience and also the reward for unfaithful disobedience. The reward for rewriting (changing) The Word is also clearly stated: that if anyone adds to His Word God will add to him the plagues described and if anyone takes away from His Word God will take away his share in the tree of life and the Holy City ! God said what He means and means what He said ! No rewriting of What God Says will profit anyone! Beware of the vain imaginations of the flesh!!! ~~~ |

Brother,
the teaching by Andrew Wommack regarding Elijah is true and speaks of the Lord's mercy even when we have disobeyed the Lord many, many, many times in our life. This is evidenced in Abraham, who lied about his wife twice, David who committed adultery and murder, Jonah who fled the Lord, Peter who denied Jesus and even Paul, who persecuted the church. How many of us are able to say confidently that we have obeyed the Lord to the fullest of our ability? It is only by His grace and Love that we are all still alive right now. 1TIM 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. God rewards our faith. There is no reward from God if we obey but do not believe that He is. HEB 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. God is not pleased if we lack faith, and obedience without faith will never pleased Him.Faith first (which works by love) , only then obedience. And even then, we are measured by our works of faith, not by obedience, because it is Christ's obedience that took our place. Have faith in His obedience. Obedience without faith is sin. ROM 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. If eating without faith is sin, how much more is obeying God without faith in Him. The pharisees extremely obey the commandments of God but they do not have faith in the Son. The vain imaginations of the flesh refers to those who knew God but do not glorify Him as God and are unthankful towards God. ROM 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. The teaching of Elijah by Andrew Wommack has no evidence that it does not glorify God nor were unthankful towards God. Instead, it makes us to believe and trust in the Lord's grace even more. Rather, we must beware of the yeast of the pharisees. God bless |

THE PLACE CALLED OBEDIENCE--1920--Prophecy given to Raymond 3 years, 7 months ago #3926

...Remember, God is Love. God is obedience. Does that Word confuse you: God is obedience? Remember, the ways of God are different than the ways of man.... ...But the key ingredient is obedience. Whether one understands it, doesn’t matter. You obey your Father and He will take care of you.... 1920. Prophecy given to Raymond Aguilera on 9 August 2007 at 2:16 PM The Power and Might is Jehovah. All that you see, all that you touch, all that you smell – everything! Even the things you cannot see are Jehovah. The universe is constantly moving, parts of it are being destroyed, parts of it are being created. People believe that the universe goes on forever, but that is not true, because beyond what you call the universe is your Father Jehovah, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Jehovah, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are forever. The term, the label infinity does not apply to God. It is hard for the human mind to understand such things, but it is the truth. We created all, we can destroy all. There is no such thing as time, space. It is only God, Jehovah, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Many people have terms and human laws, laws of physics that have boundaries, even though they say they are limitless, but they have limits, they just do not know. They do not understand the ways of God, the Manners of God. There is no such thing as putting God in a box, because no box could contain God. People with little minds see little things, think little things. God is beyond whatever man could comprehend. Remember, God is Love. God is obedience. Does that Word confuse you: God is obedience? Remember, the ways of God are different than the ways of man. Man is limited in everything he does, but God cannot be stopped, be limited. God’s ways will not change to suit man, man has to change his ways to suit God, and that’s absolute. When God says, love thy neighbor, you love your neighbor. When God says, help the poor, you help the poor. When God says, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, He means it! When He says to love God beyond everything that you could, He means that too! My prophet, Reymundo, is still being trained; he doesn’t claim to know everything, because he doesn’t know everything. I only tell him what I want to tell him. He obeys the best he can and waits. What more could God ask of His people? He has pains in areas of his life. Money worries like everyone else. Spiritual worries like everyone else. But the key ingredient is obedience. Whether one understands it, doesn’t matter. You obey your Father and He will take care of you. People are going to see a lot of things in this world that nobody understands. Like I said, obedience is Godliness. How can you love God if you do not obey God? How can you say you are a Christian if you live worldly lives? These are simple things that people really don’t consider in their walks. They take Bible verses, they twist and turn them to prove their human intellect. Human intellect is nothing, even though man has placed himself on the pedestal above all creatures. He is still My Creation. Remember the Love of God. Remember the obedience of God. Don’t try to be God. You will fail. There is only one God, and He controls everything. Some people think He is cruel, some people are just waiting and watching, other people love Him. But the important thing is there is a God! And He watches everything. He obeys His own Laws. He follows His own way, even though people do not understand the ways of God. There is a pattern to God, if you read the Bible with your whole heart, mind and soul, God will show you. He will open your eyes and put that spark in your spirit that will tell you the truth about the Ways of God, the Manners of God, even the Timing of God. Don’t try to figure out God, because you won’t be able to. Just follow Him the best way you can, love your neighbor as yourself, love your God with all your heart, mind and soul, and let God do His job. Help your brothers and sisters the best way you can. Remember, God is in everything, even in the things that you think are bad. Sometimes these bad things have a good outcome, even though you don’t see it or understand it. Remember God Loves you. He Loves everything, but there is a devil out there trying to confuse, trying to mix up everything that belongs to God, Jehovah, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Keep your focus on Jehovah, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, and you will be Okay. Even though you do not understand the weather, the circumstances, the good and evil that is in your life. Keep your eyes on Jehovah, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, and you will be Okay. I Love you all. I protect what is Mine. Remember My Words. My Words last forever, they have no end. Peace be with you My Children. Peace be with you. (over) ~~ |
