On all of these points what would the Christ do?
1. An old granny falls on the pavement before you?
2. A child draws close to the roadway on a busy road?
3. An old pensioner cuts her arm on a tree as you pass her?
Do we ....
A. Walk away saying we are saved by grace, let them do for themselves.
B. Say a prayer for them and do nothing.
C. Do what Christ would have done in the same circumstances & help them.
Yes the answer is C.
Now all of these activities were of some vital importance to the distressed, all involved WORK, all involved mercy (grace).
So why do so many Christians walk past rubbish on the street in a world choking with pollution? Tell the children breathing through gas masks 20 years from now, my doctrine said we are saved by grace alone.
Those with eyes see, those with ears hear.
