I just want to say that I know this site don't appear to be very active at times, and not alot of discussion most of the time, but people are being led here. There has been several people on here that the Lord has used to help me many times. Not even a year ago I didn't go to church and hadn't in 20 years, not one of my children knew Jesus, my wife wouldn't of went to church if I had tied her up to get her there. Today I attend regularly, have set times set aside for prayer, in addition to other prayers throughout my day, two of my children know Jesus now. My wife goes to church most of the time now, she even went and took the kids one day when I could not go(dont sound like much to some people, but believe me it was a HUGE thing). My daughter and myself were baptised a few weeks ago. I have actually read the entire bible. I am in a bible study group and not ashamed to actually tell people that i work with. My entire life has changed in this past year. actually just about 9 months. Anyway I just wanted to leave my store here so those of you that log in and reply to some of our weird questions, and our lack of knowledge at times, that I have no doubt the Lord is using you. may God bless all of you that have responded to me, emailed me and sent pm's back and forth when I needed answers.

no worries brother... The board may seem to very inactive, but as you say there are many people who look for truths to nourished their spiritual hunger. And i am very glad that you have grown into what you are now, and i pray that you will continue in the Word. For that is what a disciple of Jesus is...

For my part, i have a great desire to impart so much, but at times there is such a great resistance to the Word. The Body of Christ will need to grow out from perceiving with emotions into a maturity of holding the faith in a clear conscience.

Having a clear conscience, a clear understanding of Jesus is what strengthens faith, and not good feelings. Feelings or emotions should only be used as an indicator, a signal and not as a tool to determine absolute truth.
Truth should be seen through Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding, and these are not emotions, but are manifestation of the Holy Spirit working in our heart.

I will post some more, brother, words of encouragement. Lately i have held myself back from speaking, but now i will speak what is given as plainly as it is in an excellent spirit, according to Jesus's richness in Grace.

I would like to add , that as of yesterday all my children have come to accept Jesus. I have no doubt I was led here to get answers I was asking. I am sure others are as well.

Seek and you will find. Prayer and reading the Bible always helps. I have started reading the Bible again from the beginning. One always learns something new each time one reads it again. God bless you.
