Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, in these last moments of HIs coming, let us not be swayed with all the bad news of this world. Surely all these things must happen to the ungodly and the unrepentant, but for all who are redeemed by HIs blood we are not to harbour worry in our heart.
Cast ALL your cares to the Lord!
1Peter 5:7 Casting ALL your care upon him; for he careth for you.
The Lord wants your cares and worries- not a little, not some, but ALL. He wants ALL. ALL of your worries and cares. He wants every little worries and cares, big and small, that is in your heart. And the Lord wants us to replace ALL these cares with TRUST towards Him, that He will meet ALL our needs.
How does the Lord meet ALL our needs? By sowing the seed of His Word in our hearts. This sowing will bring FRUIT that we will HARVEST.
Everything in God's kingdom start from a seed of the Word. The reason we are to study the Word is so that we can discipline ourselves to sow the seed of His promise daily. Without sowing the seed, there can be no harvest TO MEET OUR NEEDS.
The fruit will depend on what seed of God's word that we sow. If we sow the seed of financial blessings, then we will receive financial blessings to bless others first, and then having enough to keep our needs. Here are some seed of financial blessings that we can use to sow- and it's harvest is to bless others and our own needs as well...
LK 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
2 Cor 9
6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so LET him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
9 (As it is written, He HATH dispersed abroad; he HATH given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. (this is the purpose why we are blessed- that we may give!)
10 Now He (Jesus) that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread FOR YOUR FOOD, and MULTIPLY YOUR SEED SOWN, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; )
11 Being ENRICHED IN EVERYTHING to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
In this passage there are so many seeds that we can sow into our hearts. Once we open our hearts and receive understanding for this seeds and agree with it, then God's power will began to take effect through our minds and into everything we touched. Everything we do will be blessed and will produce a great harvest, despite how the world's economy looks nowadays.
The Lord instructs us to keep a worry-free, care free heart- because He wants to us to avoid choking these seed by constant worrying.
MT 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
From this verse, Jesus equals those who are full of worries THE SAME as those who DESIRE to be rich. There is nothing wrong in having many blessings, but we are not to desire it. Abraham had great possesions, even Job, but their delight is in the Lord. There is no evil in money itself, but THE LOVE OF MONEY is evil. We must remember there is a distinction between the two.
Therefore, whatever our need is, sow the seed of the Word that speaks of our need, cast all your cares to the Lord, and in due time you will reap a harvest that will meet your desire to bless others and at the same time your needs also.
God bless.
