I post this to give Praise and Glory to My My God Jesus Christ who is deserving of all Praise and Glory. At the time that this happened to me and my wife, I had not come to salvation with the Lord God yet.



There are times when the Holy Lord God performs miracles to help us. I can tell of one that happened to me and my wife when we were much younger and living in the state of Michigan, back in the 1950's.

We had been visiting at my wife's brother for a Christmas celebration, and as we started home, it was late at night, Snowing and was very cold. how cold I do not know. But as we were driving home on a very deserted road, very shortly after leaving the brother's house. We had a baby of only a couple of months old with us, our first child, when the car did not start to warm up as it should we were concerned for the cold, then the radiator hose burst and the antifreeze, which should have been good for 50 degrees F below freezing, sprayed out around the hood and covered the windshield, and froze instantly to the windshield.

I pulled over to the side of the road, and there had not been even one car traveling either way. We looked around and saw that across the road was an old farm house with lights on inside, so knowing that the life of the baby was at stake, we bundled her up and made a run through the snow to the farm house. A man let us in and we were able to call her brother who came and picked us up, taking us on home, leaving the broken down car at the side of the road..

When we went back for the car, there was no farm house across the road. My wife's brother later searched all over the area and never could find the farm house where we had safety, and the house where he picked us up.

Every time that I remember, I give praise and Glory to God for His Mercy upon us that night. For had it not been for that miracle we would have all died that night.
